The conversation between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Barack Obama was tense and tough, according to a report on Channel 1 Tuesday evening.
Based on a transcript of the conversation, obtained by Israel’s channel 1, Obama “behaved in a rude, condescending and hostile manner,” the network’s foreign correspondent concluded.
During the 35-minute conversation on Sunday, the president reportedly demanded that Israel should immediately and unconditionally end the operation.
When Netanyahu asked what Israel would get in return for unilaterally ending the strikes, Obama replied: “I believe Hamas will stop firing rockets – quiet in return for quiet.” To which Netanyahu responded that Hamas has already violated 5 cease-fires and is committed to the destruction of Israel.
“I repeat and expect Israel to stop all of its actions against Hamas in Gaza,” Obama said. He added that despite Netanyahu’s objections the United States trusts Qatar and Turkey’s mediation. “Israel is not in a situation that it can choose its mediators,” the president told his Israeli counterpart.
Netanyahu in response: “Hamas will continue firing rockets on Israel and use their tunnels to attack our people.”
At this point, Obama interrupted the Israeli leader, stating, “the ball is in Israel’s court, and it must end all military activities.”

What caught me was the length, 35 minutes.
That just doesn’t ring true, as the POS can’t last 20 seconds without a script. How could he hold any conversation in which he is required to interact and reply in real time?
Maybe PM Netanyahu was put on hold for 34 of those minutes?
Too many in the US government are bought and paid for by the muzzies. It is obvious to people who know nothing about foreign policy that obama is on the wrong side of this issue . . . he wants us to boil over. Keep our composure until the election. If we don’t take the Senate, it will probably be because we were cheated out of it, for the umteenth time. I think THEN it will be time to boil over.
It becomes more obvious every day, even to the casual observer, that obama is working aggressively against our country. I don’t want him impeached because he deserves to be hauled out back and summarily shot for treason. Impeachment does not match the tenor of his behavior in office, which is laced with treachery and betrayal of our nation. His treatment of Netanyahu and Israel in this affair alone is proof of treason - Israel is an ally . . . Hamas is not.

I hope this was some sort of shot across the bow. I am sure Israel can release more than just transcripts of phone conversations. :)

Neri Zilber, a journalist from the Washington Institute for Near East Studies, tweeted that the transcript came from an American source, meaning it was likely translated into Hebrew by Channel 1 and then back into English by the Times of Israel.
State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said that, if true, the leak of the transcript represented “a severe violation of a private diplomatic discussion,” while the Obama White House’s National Security Council tweeted a few minutes ago that the transcript bears no “resemblance to reality” and that it was “shocking and disappointing someone would sink to misrepresenting” a private conversation by fabricating a transcript.
