Would only make sense if Biden was removed at the same time.
Not that I’d have a lot of confidence in a President Boehner — but it at least would give our nation a chance to survive

Sympathy ploy, most Americans (wrongly) would be against it.

They are trying to get the Pubbies to bite.
Last week on FoxNews The Five Bob Beckel brought up the I-word several times in the span of a few minutes. None of the other panel members took the bait.

Why impeach him and deny him the opportunity to continue destroying his party for the next two years?
To: yorkiemom
Because the WH and the DemonRats
want the impeachment proceeding to start and continue. It takes all the attention away from the mid terms and possibly would result in the Dems being able to keep the Senate and possibly win the House.
It's like close-up magic. Don't watch the hand that the illusionist wants you to look at. 'Your' card is not there.

Go after those around him instead, starting with Holder. Avoids the Obama as democrat martyr thing and gives the GOP a platform to talk about this administration's criminality.
A *^$# do something to stop his illegal EOs.

Republicans are not planning to impeach President Obama. Yes, Sarah Palin has called for it. The South Dakota GOP passed an impeachment resolution. Andy McCarthy is out with a book arguing that the legal foundation for ousting Obama exists, but the political will does not. And the occasional House back-bencher floats the 'I-word' from time to time. But there is no groundswell of support, or any semblance of a serious campaign, to remove the President of the United States from office. But it has been brought up by the GOP, so why are we surprised that the Democrats are trying to milk all the political capital they can from it?

That’s a needed start. I would personally hope that Boehner nominates someone who is actually conservative for VP, and then “decides to spend more time with his family” or “peacefully passes away”.

Only 33 %?!! I doubt it. That’s one of those figures that the MSM cooked up to save face for their buddy. I would guess its nearer to 55 % maybe even higher...
To: BenLurkin
We need to get them talking about convicting Obama and cadre after they’re out of office. We’ll get no where in the political area.
I think it would be interesting to see how the democrats choose to deal with the possibility.

Obama deserves to be impeached and should be impeached if sanity and common sense reigned in politics & the rule of law meant something .... but it doesn’t. The WH & Obama’s political consultants can only wish the GOP would be so stupid as to try impeaching the ‘first black president’ ... it would fit right in with Obama’s (and Holder’s) constant refrain that the reason he can’t get anything done and the reason Republicans fight him (sometimes) on his damaging policies is because they don’t like him and it’s his race. Impeachment would be synonymous with ‘racism’. This would gin up the ‘vote-skin-color-no matter-what’ base and as the article says “it’s [threat of impeachment] a coordinated fundraising and base-goosing effort”.

NEWS FLASH - - - - - MSNNC talks about whatever the White Hut tells them to talk about. Joseph Goebbels and Hitler's propaganda film maker Leni Riefenstahl are so envious of Obozo and his propaganda machine in the USA during the 2010s.

The “why” of it is simple:
To make him a sympathetic victim so his base will get riled up to protect him - by sending money to get more democrats elected in November midterms, obviously.
We’re “racist” if we impeach him... we’re “racist” if we oppose him... we’re “racist” if we don’t do, pass, agree with, support, everything he says/wants/throws tantrums over.
They’ve got that victim/race card down to an artform.

The time has come for a very plain discussion with the American people.
Explain to them what “progressives” like Elizabeth Warren have for an agenda.
Explain the conservative agenda in plain terms.
Tell the voters it is not about the campaign slogans or candiates — it is about the agendas.
And let the voters decide which way the nation will go.
If the voters choose nanny state slavery — there is nothing that can be done. Or could have been done.
