FREETOWN Sierra Leone officials appealed for help on Friday to trace the first known resident in the capital with Ebola whose family forcibly removed her from a Freetown hospital after testing positive for the deadly disease.

Someone with Ebola breaking quarantine? Leave the thread up - I’m sure it will be breaking news in a day or two. Again.
Well, bama is sending the illegals out to every population center he can. The jihadiis must be kicking themselves that they didn’t seed the crowd with typhoid Marias. Unless they did ...
I live in South Florida and am aware of a young woman who contracted a necrotizing fasciitis infection that nearly killed her, and has left her in a long (6 year) process of major reconstructive surgery. It is an horrific situation that was believed to have started with a small scratch on her back, the result of a fall on a college campus in S. Florida. Her initial reaction was to assume it was a minor scratch when she fell on a staircase. She didn’t even seek treatment it appeared so minor. Within a few days she was very ill, vomiting and suffering diarrhea. Her family took her to the hospital assuming this was a very bad intestinal flu episode. A very good doctor quickly recognized what it was, and began a series of actions that save the patient. This involved many surgeries to remove infected tissues. Transfer to Miami allowed use of bariatric chamber treatment, which also contributed to her survival.
Now, Ebola is quite different than necrotizing fasciitis, but I can see something similar in both infections - the number of professionals who are drawn together to spend man-hours on the same person in a race to preserve that life. Many millions of dollars of treatment are dispensed. When you think of this in terms of necrotizing fasciitis your first conclusion is thank god that this doesn’t happen more than about 500x per year in the world. Because it is resource intensive like almost nothing else.
If Ebola ever gets to the US and ever breaks out - it is going to be a staggeringly expensive health crisis.
I’m surprised one terrorist group or another hasn’t done this yet...
Of course the U.S. government would never protect or secure the borders until it was determined a team of 20 or so intentionally infected with some kind of cooties, after crossing, were sent to all points out of Houston or wherever...
Great excuse to declare Martial law.
The whole idea will to keep this as low key as possible, regardless of the hypocrisy......as usual they say one thing while they “show” something else entirely .
If we are being told about this....imagine what they aren’t saying!
There’s so much going on we’re kept from.
Heck I read one story where a guy was traveling in Switzerland when the person next to him mentioned...”Americans are too stupid to realize their current President is the last President for America.”
Now why is it that people outside this nation are not only seeing stuff we deny even if we know it, but they have no hesitation of speaking their minds about it.....yet our media is sooo supressed and utterly unbalanced on world events and happenings.
I wouldn’t believe anything they report as being how it really is.....I just assume it’s much worse than what they are saying...or an outright lie.
Terrorism in regards to this disease is something I've been worrying about. Sympathizers can be martyrs for the cause without having to carry lethal weapons past security at airports. All they need is a capsule with the disease, and munch on it just before going through security. Once in our country, they can spread it throughout a metropolitan area with ease. Multiply that by ten, in ten separate large cities and we have a panic on our hands.
I experienced all those, plus one other symptom, but I can not say what it was, because this is a family forum, but maybe you can figure it out on your own.
:-)
Those involved in getting her out should be charged with attempted murder.
And not just for her, but the people who were exposed to her and will die from it.
Not all of us are......
“Those involved in getting her out should be charged with attempted murder.’
Actually, if this disease has become airborne then they will probably die long before they could be tried
Even if it isn’t, with the direct contact with her that they most likely had, that’s probably the case anyway.
To bad she’s dead. I’d give her a work permit and let her work as part of the White House staff.
I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that a few infected people were purposely brought here and released through the country, all on taxpayers’ money. Culling the masses through death has always been a preferred communist technique.
I can only imagine the horror these people feel as they realize they’ve contracted this deadly disease. Sitting in a quarantine ward with people in varying degrees of dying, bleeding out....
I would want out of that kind of nightmare too...
Imagine the horror...no I don’t think I can on second thought.
What would you consider a bit of conspiracy...
Recall they would not let anyone into those detention centers, not even congressman or the governor, no cameras, no interviews.
Recall the CDC reported some deadly stuff missing.
They are sending a few of the ‘kids’ to every state in the Union...after they’ve been ‘vaccinated.’
Dispersing these kids all over the country is stupid. I know of no other country that does that with refugees. They keep them quarantined, in camps!
Kids are excellent at spreading germs...ask any parent with children at about the 4th week of each new school year. Oh wait...uh? These kids are be going to school with our children in a few weeks...
Perfect storm brewing...
The next thing you know she will appear at the border crossing in McAllen, Texas along with the other diseased criminals coming across.
Frightening what damage they could do, before the diseases would begin to exact their deadly toll.
I don’t doubt it’s going to happen.
