Americans are so down on President Obama at the moment that, if they could do the 2012 election all over again, they'd overwhelmingly back the former Massachusetts governor's bid. That's just one finding in a brutal CNN poll, released Sunday, which shows Romney topping Obama in a re-election rematch by a whopping nine-point margin, 53 percent to 44 percent. That's an even larger spread than CNN found in November, when a survey had Romney winning a redo 49 percent to 45 percent.

My thought, too.
And those 300+ million will still suffer under a decline that'll be slightly less painful under a Republican. No thanks. It's the equivalent of trying to remain on life-support after being declared brain-dead.
I would “make the swap” for sure. Probably not today though, better to have it be after the midterm election results in a GOP Senate.
But I don’t see much point in arguing about a hypothetical, Osama is the President for another 2.4. He could’ve been beaten, Romney was a poor candidate, nominated by default over weak opposition.
To everyone in that poll who would chose Romney today, but voted for Obama when it mattered, I say “EFF U, especially since you’d vote for Hillary, you GD retards”.
what alternative universe do you live in

The one where socialism is promoted by socialists, moral perversion is promoted by perverts and their morally spineless sycophants, and “a woman’s choice” is a euphemism for prenatal infanticide.
Sleep well. "

If I vote for someone with a career long record supporting abortion I share in his guilt and would have blood on my hands.
We will all someday face God and will have to explain our choices.
Putting up a non conservative candidate has consequences. Severe ones.
Reap what you sow.
It would seem the GOP has learned nothing and is poised to double down on stupid.
So be it.
My vote is earned. Others are automatic. Good luck with that.
but it’s okay to vote - directly or by default - for a muslim that is intent on destroying our whole country, our way of life AND our LIVES - and the lives of your children, grandchildren - et al.
Good luck with that rationalization.
Better stock up on blue burka material
I am only accountable for who I put my seal of approval on, not who others approve of. I will not be coerced into approving the murder of 55 million innocent babies.
by your reasoning - you are then approving of the slaughtering of Christians, mutilating of women, honor killings, gun running to our enemies, billions of our tax dollars going to our enemies who are intent on killing us all - etc -etc -
how’s the air up there?
pomposity thy name is...
That's just a fact of life that folks better accept. You can't wish your way around that reality.
I really wish neither of them had run.
If you voted for a flaming Liberal, what does that make you then?
You are what you eat and you eat crap sandwiches.
Your post reads like a Gore groupie. Sure, there was voter fraud, but not enough to change the outcome of the election. Romney lost because he sucked the big one as a candidate.
Romney lost because he sucked the big one as a candidate. That is definitely the truth.
Because of the electoral college, a significant chunk of those fraudulent votes are irrelevant because they occurred in cesspools that Obama would have won even without the fraud. I mean who really cares if some DB from the upper west side of Manhattan voted for Obama three times on the same day.
I apologize for the week’s silence. I just got out of the hospital after seven days. My desire to resume the relentless drumbeat as to Mitt Romney being, at BEST, no better than Comrade Obozo will inspire me to overcome my weariness and return to the lists in a day or two.
Ugh... 7 days in the hospital. I hope you get well soon.
