Rep. Steve Scalise, the incoming House Majority Whip, said Sunday he will stay in Washington until Congress agrees to an emergency spending plan for the border-immigration crisis, but declined to say whether he will cancel the lower chambers August recess.
Im going to stay until its done, said Scalise, R-La., the Tea Party-backed lawmaker who in June became the No. 3 Republican in the GOP-led House after Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost his re-election bid.

Anyone still doubt that it’s us against Uniparty?
It does seem that those candidates who in a true and winning way convey the constitutional conservative message ARE NOT endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce.
It might be time to refuse to support anyone who is.
“Scalise said House Republicans want to keep the government funded at current levels.”
A Republican majority in the House and they “want to keep goverment funded at current levels.”
Hundreds of billions of debt per year is swell with them. This doesn’t make me feel good about how they may come down on immigration, either.
These MOEY SUCKERS that get on WELFARE and get $35,000.00 worth of FREE STUFF a year are NOTHING BUT WELFARE QUEENS!!
In 1981 I was working for the welfare dept here? I worked in food stamps and then MediCal. My first question when I had an immigrant apply was......what about their sponsor and the fact that they sign papers saying they won’t use our welfare system? Oh, we don’t enforce that, process them.
