Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) is putting a call out to the American people: He needs help to kill President Barack Obama’s plans to grant executive amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.

Sessions wants Americans to melt Congress’ phone lines, demanding their members make a precondition of any border crisis bill that Obama’s executive order amnesty via the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and any future plans be stopped.

Ya know, I just can't imagine any real patriot being stopped by the threat of release of embarrassing information. The Dems are in a constant state of moral turpitude, drunk, high, gay affairs...Barney Frank even had a gay brothel in his home while in Congress. They scoff at scandal and do whatever they please. Is a patriot really worried about losing his or her low-paying job as a congressman? No, there's something else going on.

We need patriots, and let's dump the rest.

If Obama grants amnesty to 5 million Mexicans will Sessions say it’s our fault for not burning up the phone lines?

He’s as bad as Obama when it comes to not taking responsibility. We sent him up there so we won’t have to burn up phone lines. Shut Obama down by closing the checkbook. Or impeach him. Sessions and his “friends” have a lot more power than us making phone calls.

I think our view point/demands are doomed. We have so many in the political/media arena who are now using "children fleeing from violence" to shut us up. They're using the old "sanctuary" law? policy? against us.

I think the GOP needs to stop pandering to the liberals and pissing around with "trying to fix our immigration laws" when there isn't anything wrong with the current one - other than they are not enforced (or not working fast enough for all the illegals), and stand up on our (legal US citizens) side of the issue.

This crazy issue has been brewing a long time and hasn't changed since.

I read Juan Williams’ (Fox News) opinion piece blaming the GOP for not resolving the immigration issue (a.k.a amnesty) and citing the “children fleeing” crap. I was disappointed to read that.

Too late: the government (or organizations for illegals) is busing them into neighborhoods so that they meld without anyone noticing. In the end, we will never know where they all went.
