Her leaving dolls on doorsteps might be creepy, but the dolls aren’t necessarily creepy despite the headlines.

I always find dolls slightly creepy.
For an even better effect, she should do this at Halloween.

I used to know a woman who collected dolls as a hobby.
The families who received these dolls should be celebrating, not hiding in the basement.
These are not your cheap, every day, average kiddy dolls.
Especially the porcelain ones.
Look at the pictures. They are in excellent shape and are top quality.

At least she didn’t leave a Talky Tina doll behind. Another great episode of The Twilight Zone.

Sad when society looks down on a good deed by a person.
Nothing creepy about it and I am sad for the woman who thought she was doing something good by giving dolls to young girls who could enjoy them.
So shines a good deed in a weary world.

This only seemed creepy because of the Chucky and Bride of Chucky movies.
To: expat1000
The only “creepy” thing about this story is the news media. If these were Chucky dolls with blood on them, then you report a creepy story. But finding a doll like this would cause a normal person to assume it as a lovely gift to a child. The emphasis here is in “normal”...something the news media is not these days.
