You are a scion of a proud and ancient clan who turn water and barley malt – with a kiss of peat from the Northern Isles – into a potation fit for Kings!

You adhere strictly to the Ancient Rubric laid down by the Founders – there is no wheat – there is no maize! There is only select Barley mashed in the ancient way, pure water from the far Northern Lakes and peat from the banks and braes of Scotland!

You eschew "decorated" potations – no umbrellas, swizzle sticks or straws! You drink your malt neat – preferably at cask strength. It is permissible to add water – from approved springs only - to bring out the complexities of the bouquet.
