The mysterious appearance of two large white flags flying over the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City this morning has the city scrambling to figure out why they were put there....
It is unclear why they are there and who put them there, authorities said.

Pray for our nation.
Its tough to escape the feeling of something very bad about to happen.
Maybe it’s like when Key West seceded back in ‘82, formed the Conch Republic, immediately surrendered and requested foreign aid.
Kind of scary that someone COULD put the flags at the bridge without being detected doing so, IMHO.
NYC has surrendered.
I’ve had that constant feeling since 2008.
This makes me extremely nervous.
Me too. Got worst in 2012 when the liberals and many Republicans decided King Obama was better than Romney.
We’ve been invaded by France!!
Looks like they’ve finally caught up with De Blasio’s term in office.
“many Republicans decided King Obama was better than Romney.”
Yeah, but they voted their “conscience” or “there was no difference between them” (BS) so we can’t blame them (so we’re told).
Don’t the Islamists use white flags to claim territory and to signal that any Infidel who does not pay a tax or does not convert to Mohammedism will be slaughtered? Look for a sharp uptick in unsolved murders in New York.
Skeeter,
This is ominous.

At a a glance, seems the white flag was used but abandoned by Islam long ago.
See post 14.
“The white flags are in the same place where American flags typically fly atop the bridge.”
1. Where did the American flags go?
2. Who took them?
3. Marking targets?
4. Sending a message?
Wake up. Someone with authority should close the bridge off to all traffic until the bridge is inspected. I don’t like this.

Earlier today we hoisted two white flags to signal our complete surrender of the Brooklyn Bridge bicycle path to pedestrians.
The humor some people are treating this with is irritating.
Remember, we can ‘afford to lose one city’.
