Russia’s Defence Ministry dismissed accusations on Monday that pro-Russia separatists in Ukraine’s east were at fault for shooting down a Malaysia Airlines jet last week, alleging instead that Ukrainian warplanes had been flying close to the plane.
The ministry also denied accusations that Russia had supplied the separatists with SA-11 Buk anti-aircraft missile systems – which are known as “Gadfly” in NATO – or “any other weapons.”
“Russian air space control systems detected a Ukrainian Air Force plane, presumably an SU-25 (fighter jet), scrambling in the direction of the Malaysian Boeing,” Lieutenant-General Igor Makushev of Russia’s Air Forces told a news briefing. “The distance of the SU-25 plane from the Boeing was from 3 to 5 kilometres (2 to 3 miles).”
The ministry’s comments came as the Netherlands announced that prosecutors had opened an investigation into the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, which claimed the lives of all 298 people on board, 193 of whom were Dutch citizens

CNN just NOW reported live from Donetsk that “some skirmishing” was going on at the outskirts.
Amazing how some are not up to date and still singing the blues over past happenings they believe but weren’t actual happenings.

I don’t accuse them of being Obamabots, but I have to wonder.
They are too hot to trot and too willing to accept WH media as though what they report is already decided. I think something like this should be viewed with more skepticism just to be on the safe side.

And why did Russia remove all the big pieces of the plane, the ones that could confirm who did it - were they worried about those decomposing in the sun too??
And if its so important to wait, why did your buddy Putin already blame Ukraine 1 hour after the crash?

I like your skepticism...which is where I'm at in the issues of Ukraine and the Airlines crash. Too many moving parties and too much war still going on to determine who is who and what is happening there for real.
I have a problem with Kiev Gov. literally pounding the East.....they have no options but aerial attacks as most of their military will not fight. And the US is behind those attacking the East.....We deny it just as Russia denies being there...but both have men on the ground.

CNN reported, live from Ukraine 30 minutes ago, that the train with the bodies had ALREADY left Donetsk, and they are under DUTCH control.
