President Obama made a culinary confession Friday: He loses his mind over chips and guacamole.
The president made a brief, surprise visit to the East Room to address 54 children and their guardians, shortly after speaking to the press corps about the Malaysian airliner shot down over Ukraine yesterday.
We are currently spending $10 billion a year on our school lunch programs, she said. So its not surprising that there are certain interests that are resisting change and trying to take us back to the old ways of doing business.

When I started teaching at a rural school in the 80s, the lunch ladies actually cooked the lunches. True, they often used gov’t surplus, but they actually cooked. Today that is impossible because federal requirements say they have to meet calorie, fat, and sodium limits on each serving. There is no way they can comply, so they heat already prepared meals.
If you are really looking for the guys with the evil mustaches, look for the food distributors who are getting rich by supplying the tasteless, un filling meals that are getting thrown away by kids who have some idea of what food should taste like. I imagine local hog farmers my also be profiting if they can get the contract to haul the schools garbage.
Soooo, this is why he is hell bent on bringing illegals in from Mexico, guacamole running. One can think this was a cute little thing to say to kids, IT WASN’T, it was a megalomaniac sticking it right in our face. Think about it......”he loses his mind over guacamole”, I’m surprised he didn’t say and tacos.
My brother loved them. I hated them. I preferred mayonnaise sandwiches. ( yes — just mayo)
What's that about?
Dare I say... “Obozo, YOU are the WEAKEST LINK.”
The clown is certifiable, but I thought it was due to the “blow”.
This is not acceptable.
You're right, it's not acceptable.
We could start by docking the food stamp allotment for family members getting the free grub @ school.
Currently that isn’t done.
It would cost more to keep track of it than it would save. The real constituency here is the suppliers and the employees, at every level from Federal to your local elementary cafeteria. The people eating the food are just the excuse.
"The President ... she said ..."
So which President was it, Valerie, or Moochelle?
What next, a cartoon obama saying “I’m cuckoo for coacoa puffs”?
I agree with the thread that the kids are a distraction. What is coming over the border is weapons and people to use those weapons on Americans. The thread mentions this is a common military tactic ...
Here's the thread ... http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3182828/posts
Title of thread is 'Former Border Patrol Agent Warns What's Coming
Don't want to scare anyone but this being a site for the truth .... the truth is being shared.
I was part of the ‘greatest generation and served in the Pacific in WWII. My sole brother was killed on Okinawa a few months before I landed on Leyte. We survived the great depression by having many meals of days old bread soaked in reconstituted powdered milk. At the time we didn’t think such a life would be put in the category of tin foil which seems to be the material of choice for some people..
It come down to the point of if one believes obama, obama’s crowd and congress is tangled up in the Red, White and Blue or are they all tangled up in Green?
So many brave young men, and so many families touched by loss. In 2006 my second cousin's remains were found in New Guinea. His plane crashed in bad weather after a bombing run on Apr 16, 1944.
I am sorry for your loss, and I thank you for your service.
Gosh ... just saw this. Must mean double secret probation time or dungeon time. Please give me a break .... just came out of the dungeon not long ago. It's scary down below.
On so many levels.
