Right around when John Brown did his raids on slavers in Missouri.

Guess they don’t think they will reap what they sow.

Jokes on them, everyone knows Brownback IS a moderate.
Sec of State Kris Kobach has done an excellent job of keeping his Amnesty RINO Extraordinaire Butt in line.

In a rare and surprising act of political defiance on Tuesday, more than 100 Republicans, including current and former officeholders, endorsed Brownbacks opponent, statehouse Democratic leader Paul Davis. Which is proof that "moderate" Republicans are nothing more than liberals hiding in Republican clothing.

"Moderates"? I call them "Stealth Democrats". Better to have your enemies on the field of battle in front of you clearly tagged than hiding in the shadows at your back wearing your uniform.

A great many Kansans certainly don’t call Kansas the `Jayhawk state.’ Jayhawks are a sort of cartoon prairie chicken protected by the government from being consumed by native wildcats.
Years ago, KU (the University of Kansas) came to play in K-State’s Ahearn gym, and some rowdies threw a half-dozen red and blue dyed chickens onto the court.
In that the birds were very excited, and landed almost on top of KU cheerleaders, there was general pandemonium as well as hilarity. And Jack Hartmann’s boys won the day.
It’s the Sunflower state, and it gave us Katherine Sibelius.
Fank you very much, GOP moderates.

I had to laugh at the headline. I'm surprised to read that the "moderates" even know how to revolt. Too bad they never do this when Democrats are bending them over for the umpteenth time; they seem to only know how to stab conservatives in the back.

"Moderates"? I call them "Stealth Democrats".With each passing day, the cloaking device seems to be getting weaker. My honest feeling at this time is that the GOP is nothing but a sham party run by quasi-Democrats to keep conservatives from getting any power in D.C. I know people say a third party isn't a choice, but I'm not sure there is another alternative since the elitist GOPe will never allow conservatives to run the party (and therefore set the agenda).

The fact that former Congress woman Jan Meyers (Rino-JO County) is part of the revolt tells you everything you need to know.

This is exactly how the United States got stuck with Harry Reid.
RINOs did it.

Proving what we have been saying for years...moderates cant be counted on...they are democrats who want to hold office in republican districts.

Party unity, and all that jive. Party unity in Kansas has been dying for decades. The purge of the moderates in the last two election cycles killed it completely.

The fact that former Congress woman Jan Meyers (Rino-JO County) is part of the revolt tells you everything you need to know.I bet most of 'em are from Johnson County. If you're looking for leftists in Kansas, that's where they'll be found.
