Universities across the country are hosting a National Gay Blood Drive today to encourage the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to change its current policies which prevent gay men from donating blood.Activists have pushed for gay men to be able to donate blood for the past several years. In 2010, a government health committee heard testimonies and reviewed the policy, but ultimately recommended keeping the ban and researching alternative policies.
Those at the blood drive today will be given the opportunity to sign a petition against the FDAs policy which will be sent to the White House.

If you like your AIDs, you can keep your AIDs.
Thanks for the ping!
Wile requiring heterosexuals to file written consents in triplicate prior to having sex ... unless you are Muslim, because that would be Islamophobic.
Anyway, the white, privileged, sexist, cisnormatives must be held accountable.
“Here’s Your Chance To Show You REALLY Care!Get Your HIV-Tainted Blood Here”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you mean”Homogenized”???
You’re Welcome, Alamo-Girl!
Were it not for the possibility of things getting messed up for those of us who would rather not have gay blood in a transfusion, I'd say let them. It will be a self limiting phenomenon.
"AIDS is an illness of social change; of travel and of promiscity. In the United States most infections are passed on by homosexuals, by drug injectors and by those unfortunate enough to receive a transfusion of contaminated blood."
Jone's book is a fine update of Darwin's original work ... It's subtitle is "THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES UPDATED." One statement from the book's back cover is ... "Jones is a writer of engaging wit and dazling erudition and has been called "the British Carl Sagan."
IIRC, anyone who spent more than six months in Western Europe is banned. I was stationed in Germany from 77-81, which prohibits me from donating blood.
The Red Cross center in Dallas lost 20% of their donors over this.
Well, if HIV donors are allowed, pretty soon it is a disease that anyone getting a blood transfusion can share. NO common sense.
They used to abbreviate it on the cartons. We used to laugh at it all the time.

I don’t even know where to start on how bad of an idea this is.
The good news is, this gives me ANOTHER reason to stay well and out of a hospital. I once joked that the next time I want to go to a hospital, I want to go in horizontally and out horizontally soon thereafter. But, in this state, the coroner can pronounce you dead without any need to go to a hospital and have a doctor do it. So, if I’m lucky, I won’t ever have to go!
I was a little worried about mad cow disease, because I was in Britain when this started up. But, 30 years later, so far, so good. Zeppelins, cottage cheese...
These homo-fascists are among the most hateful people on the planet. They want to INFECT and KILL thousands of innocent men, women and children with HIV tainted blood so they can feel better about themselves.
No! But absolute consistency with the same egalitarian pursuit that has set the Federal Bureaucracy into its present intrusions into civilian education, health care & welfare.
This, truly is the clear application of egalitarian fantasy, and the war against "discrimination," which used to be understood as discernment; but now is understood--by the initiated--as the ultimate evil.
Where does this inability to make rational distinctions take us? The Greatest Mischief Ever Wrought
Perhaps this escapade will wake up some who have been applauding other aspects of the Leftist war against reality; but you can be certain that many on American campuses are too far gone to ever really "wake up."

It’s all about “normalization”.
I lost two friends to AIDS-tainted blood in the Great Hemopheliac Die-Off.
20,000+ Americans died during that time, but it wasn’t politically correct to talk about.
Not just NO!, but HELL FREAKIN’ NO!!!
