Pelosi and Reid don't care, this is a campaign issue for them and they know that their base is too dumb to know the truth.

Harry Reid said that five white men should not be making decisions about women’s contraception.
Of course, one of the five man majority on the court is black justice Clarence Thomas. But liberals don’t let facts get in the way of their political statements. And their low information voters don’t know the difference, and the media will never report that Harry Reid doesn’t see that Clarence Thomas is black.
What is unknown is why Harry Reid wanted to play the race card in the first place.

"In the wake of the Supreme Courts 5-to-4 ruling that, as a closely held company, Hobby Lobby was not required to pay for all of the birth-control procedures mandated by the Affordable Care Act."The WaPo sill got it wrong. It isn't the act that mandated the payment, it was the Obama Administration REGULATIONS that mandated the payment. The court simply ruled that the Obama regulations were illegal under Bill Clinton's Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

It’s all about revving up the voting base and nothing about the truth.

Reid didn’t make a mistake when he said “5 white men”, he’s a racist. Reid doesn’t make mistakes, he’s just evil.

I think most sane people are beginning to recognize the democrats are going too far, it’s become a little to obvious and they are giving up the game. Eventually even the dumbest voter is going to get it and that’s way to dangerous for the Post.

It was bad enough when Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said five white men on the Supreme Court made the decision to protect Hobby Lobby form having to pay for drugs that cause abortions for their employees. Nancy Pelosi seemed to think that the ruling somehow banned contraception or prevents women from using diaphragms. Actually, Hobby Lobby already covered diaphragms before the ruling and will continue to cover them. Reid and Pelosi both knew they were lying as the words were dropping from their mouths... They didn't worry about their base "catching them in a lie" because UP UNTIL NOW the corrupt press covered for them - and most other democrats.
The Washington Post might have run the original article by mistake, (truth telling by accident) or maybe they've made the decision to return to being a real newspaper with integrity... time will tell.
