"... Rep. Mike Rogers, a Michigan Republican and chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said Sunday that wholesale changes by Congress may not be necessary and that Obama has the authority to return the children to their native countries."

"Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the author of the provision in the human trafficking law, said a change in regulations, not the law, could speed the children's return."

(up to Obama to stop yucking it up and act)

When you want to raise a big crop you plant many seeds in your garden. Only these seeds multiply faster than weeds after a summer rain and grow exponentionally. Obama is looking for a huge Latino bumper crop of Democrat voters

There have been reports for sometime now that bamster has been preparing fema camps. I always thought these were being readied for US “dissadents”. Now, one must think that the plan all along was to bring these immigrants in and place them in the camps to overload the country the way palestinians have set up “refugee” camps in order to destroy Israel.

Is this starting to go against the 10 Amendment?

State governors from both parties have reacted cooly to efforts by the Obama administration to gain their support for placing thousands of unaccompanied Central American children with friends or family members.

Would MS-13 would count as friends or family members?

U.S. Constitution, Article 4, Section 4: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion..."

Never forget, Democrats organized them and brought them here. Children don’t cross illegally into Mexico from the southern border. Mexico’s Constitution has VERY strict punishment for those who do. These kids were answering the call, were given protection and transportation across Mexico (a 1500 mile trip from south-to-north), and were ushered across the border. Now here, they are given special protections, special courts, special transportation, and are being allowed to bring more people with them. These are KIDS. They did not do this by themselves inside of a foreign nation.

Under what legal authority does the Federal Govt., at taxpayers expense, relocate illegal aliens in non-border states?

Or, does it any longer matter if it is legal?

I have contacted my congressman, a republican good guy, to see if any illegals are being resettled in my state. I have not hear back. So, I presume he doesn’t know either

Per Di Fi:

"The law already allows HHS and the Homeland Security Department to write regulations to deal with "exceptional circumstances" that would allow officials to return the children more quickly to their home countries,"

----------------------------------

Congress needs to stop adding this kind of empowerment to the Executive. Pass LAWS. Stop signing blank checks.

Burwell left the meeting through a side door without talking to reporters.

Of course she did. Betcha $100 that was planned in advance. Bet her car stretch limo was right outside.

The State Governors act like they are completely helpless against the invasion. That is complete BS. There is a lot they can do, like enforcing health and occupancy codes, suing the private companies working in league with the Coyote-in-Chief, or employing the powers described in Article 1, Section 10 of the US Constitution. The State Governors have NO EXCUSE for inaction not when the survival of the country is at stake.

We need a nice flotilla of barges in the Gulf of Mexico. Put illegals on a barge far enough out that they cannot swim to our country until we can bring them to court and deport them. Alternatively, put them on an abandoned oil platform in the Gulf. Alternatively, fly them home again. We should never release criminals on trust as if someone willing to come here illegally would voluntarily show up for a court date next year.
