Welcome, everyone to this weekend's edition of the Canteen Music Dedication. The music in this thread is provided for the enjoyment of the troops and their families.

The Mozart was sensible music for sensible people. It's not inspired, but it's fun.

The Brahms was one of the best performances I've heard of it. There were moments in the first and third movements when I needed to reach for my handkerchief. The finale was as wild as I've ever heard it.

The Stravinsky was worth the ten year wait. The actor who played all the characters had a different voice and accent for each of them. This was a good night.

I'll be previewing next week's concerts later on today.
