Scott Brown Not Looking Very Competitive In New Hampshire

At least for now, it looks as though Scott Brown’s bid to be the first Senator to be elected to the Senate from two different states isn’t going to work out so well:

U.S. Sen Jeanne Shaheen holds a comfortable lead against all of her Republican challengers, a new WMUR Granite State Poll released tonight shows. Her 12-point lead over Scott Brown, the likely Republican nominee, is double what it was in April when Brown made his candidacy official. The margin of error is 4.3 percent.

The poll was conducted by the UNH Survey Center, which released polls for all of New Hampshire’s major federal and statewide races this week.

Fifty-seven percent of people surveyed have a favorable opinion of Shaheen’s job performance, which is near the high end of her approval ratings since she was elected in 2007. Meanwhile, all of her opponents have net negative ratings, meaning more people have an unfavorable view of them than a favorable one. Overall, the poll shows Shaheen in a position to win a second term. Many voters, however, pay little attention to politics in the summer and only 17 percent of people surveyed said they have definitely decided who they will vote for in November.

“This poll shows what Granite Staters know: Jeanne Shaheen puts New Hampshire first and her common sense leadership makes a difference for people here. She’s got deep roots in New Hampshire, raised her family here and her record proves she shares our values,” Shaheen campaign manager Mike Vlacich said in a release.

The ultimate “Apology Candidate” Scott Brown is getting his ass handed to him, what a shock. Perhaps if he were just to sound more liberal and apologize a little more for not reaching across the aisle more or embrace global warming or tell us how the POTUS is a nice guy whose policies he respectfully disagrees with or or or he would win the moderates resoundingly and only lose the election by five points instead of 12.

I’m sure Carl Rove could whip his white board out and diagram it for us.

Scott Browns political career may have already peaked. His rino tendancies are catching up with him. A lot of Dems think why vote for a fake liberal when the dem party has the real thing.

The TEA Party gave Brown his big win. When Brown went RINO they let him fail. Too bad the GOPe refuses to see the path to victory.

Backstabber Brown’s karma has been run over by
his liberal wussy etch-a-sketch dogma.

Bob Smith has been putting up signage. He’s more to the right than Brownie, but I’m going to write-in Karen Testerman ( http://testermanforsenate.com/ )

I know we’ll end up with Jeanne Shaheen the abortion machine, but Brownie is pro-abort, too.

Let the DemonRATS own the debacle that will almost certainly unfold if they take the Senate. I might consider going off shore for a few years while the dust settles.

How does a state with the motto “Live Free or Die” keep sending liberal democrats into office?

“...it looks as though Scott Brown’s bid to be the first Senator to be elected to the Senate from two different states...”

Senator James Shields
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Shields
Senator from Illinois, Minnesota and then Missouri; I suppose he was elected by the state legislatures rather than directly.

He’s also famous for coming very close to dueling with Abraham Lincoln, which if it had happened and Shields had won, would have changed history dramatically

Too many Massaholes have moved to New Hampshire over the years and they’ve taken their liberal voting patterns with them.

“Why on EARTH the GOP thought Brown running there was a good idea is beyond me.”

Because they win either way, if Brown wins, they get a liberal republican back in the senate, if the democrat wins, they help to reelect a liberal democrat, and best of all, they prevented a conservative from getting into the senate in a republican wave year. That must be prevented at all cost!

If Brown would just run as a Democrat which is what he is he would win easily.

Wishy-Washy RINO playing both ends against the middle so he can secure himself a highly compensated no-show job among the ruling elites.
