A JP Morgan Chase bank employee says hes not only puzzled by an internal company survey that asked workers if they considered themselves friend of the lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender community hes fearful of losing his job.
The unnamed employee reported to Professor Robert George of Princeton, who runs a law blog, that this years company survey which is distributed to employees annually as a means of gauging work satisfaction asked respondents to note if they were disabled, had children or spouses and domestic spouses with disabilities and were members of the LGBT community, Breitbart reported.
But the last question was the most controversial. It read, Breitbart reported: Are you an ally of the LGBT community, but not personally identifying as LGBT?
The employee said he feared that answering no could open him up to charges of discrimination that could negatively impact his employment.
The employee told Mr. George in a written statement that he worried about his future with Chase, saying that this survey wasnt anonymous, Breitbart reported.
You had to enter your employee ID. With the way things are going and the fact that LGBT rights are being viewed as pretty much tantamount to the civil rights movement of the mid 50s to late 60s, not selecting that option is essentially saying, Im not an ally of civil rights, which is a vague way to say, Im a bigot. The worry among many of us is that those who didnt select that poorly placed, irrelevant option will be placed on the you can fire these people first list, he said.

EXCERPT:
Two employees of Chase allege that an annual survey on management and other routine issues included the following questions, with employees instructed to check all boxes that apply:
Are you:
1) A person with disabilities;
2) A person with children with disabilities;
3) A person with a spouse/domestic partner with disabilities;
4) A member of the LGBT community.
5) An ally of the LGBT community, but not personally identifying as LGBT.
Invasion of privacy, plain and simple. They have no business asking such questions as they have nothing to do with work!!
It’s time for a push-back, but it ain’t happening. Americans are too apathetic these days, and won’t stand up for their own freedom.
“Boss...how can I possibly be an ally? After all,I’ve never had rectal syphilis”.
All it takes is a couple gays in an admin of thousands and voila...
Tell them what they want to hear.
I suspect that over 90% of the employees are not allies of LGBT, whatever that is supposed to mean. What’s coming next, do you support Michelle Obama’s healthy choices, instate tuition for illegals?
If you say you are not an ally of LGBT, I’m sure they will send you to reeducation. I’m sure there is a corporate policy of non discrimination, and based on that, if you give the wrong answer, you will be sent off to be educated on the issues.
“They have no business asking such questions as they have nothing to do with work!!”
Won’t matter. The objective is to place food on your table and pay rent so shadow employee here has to do it. Happened to me once years ago where the rest of us has to undergo “sensitivity training” at this one company I worked for because our tests showed we hated the faggots and minorities etc...
Photograph or screen capture the survey. Answer truthfully, no, Get fired. Hire a vicious heterosexual lawyer on contingency, and file a class action lawsuit.
rectum? damn near killed him - sorry - old joke
The next survey; Are you now part of, have you ever been, or do you know of someone in the Tea Party? Is this something you have ever considered? If so, why? If not, why not?

I guess many Germans in 1934 wished they had joined the NSDAP in 1925.
It’s absolutely none of Chase’s business of course but apparently the survey said one could “check all boxes that apply”.
Leaving a box blank, it can be reasonably argued in my opinion, is not the same thing as saying “no, I’m not an ally of LGBT’s”. It could just mean you don’t care about the issue, one way or the other.
Again, this is still outrageous though. I’ll be more than happy now to be closing my HSA at JP Morgan Chase at the end of this year. Yet another reason in a long list now why I hate that company.
The remedy for this is to cut up your Chase credit cards and send them back addressed to Dear Fascist.
I’m afraid you’re right. Americans are in an evil malaise over what is washing over us. Had the quality of Americans from the early 70’s been transported to today, we would be seeing blinding fireworks.
A deal they made with Holder ,so holder would stop fining them ?
