Hey. Now I have a reason to buy one of these solar boondoggles. I will be able to walk out into my front yard and pick up fried chicken off the lawn.

That settles it. We’ll just have to make do without energy.

I’ve said for years combine this with windmills and you have a steady supply of cooked shredded poultry to feed the starving victims of the Baraqqi Depression.

The EPA has no problems with wind turbines slaughtering eagles, I am sure they are fine with some fried ones.

Oh great.. We’re harnessing the sun’s intense heat and reflecting it back into the sky. Won’t that contribute to “global warming”?????

It's bad for feathered birds and aircraft. Those garage door size mirrors will blind a pilot in a passing small aircraft.

I wonder how the folks at Slate deal with these conflicting concerns given the usual gratuitous, vapid nonsense it normally spews.

Didn’t they do an “Environmental Impact Study?” The EPA isn’t gonna like this!

This is so sick. These people are going to have a very bad day of judgment when they face God and are asked how they cared for the earth. I think that God is not amused that His creatures are treated as such. It’s one thing to kill to eat, but it’s totally different to callously kill thousands of wildlife like this, but then these same people see nothing wrong with exterminating babies, either.

The purpose of renewable energy is to protect the environment. In order to protect the environment we must kill it.
