At least one prominent Republican lawmaker thinks two-time Republican presidential candidate and 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney will run again in 2016.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) told MSNBC's Chris Matthews that he thinks the "Draft Mitt" hype is real.
"I think he actually is going to run for president. He probably doesn't want me to say that," Chaffetz said during an interview on "Hardball" Monday night.
"A hundred times he says he's not, but Mitt Romney has always accomplished what he's set out to do. I think he's [been] proven right on a lot of stuff. I happen to be in the camp that thinks he's actually going to run, and I think he will be the next president of the United States."
Off and on since the debut of his Netflix documentary, "Mitt," speculation about a possible

Romney made a lot of mistakes but the biggest was relying too heavily on his sons’ advice. His 5 sons had no real political experience yet Romney took their (poor) advice time and time again. Romney acts and looks phony and stiff in public. He needs to just go away.
Figures it’s one from Utah that has this delusion.
“Not with my vote.”
Totally agree.
Die, RINOs, die.
Die, die, die, die..........!!!
“Hello? Reagan is dead.”
Still, better candidate than Mitt.
One term Governor.
Lost the presidential primary to the guy who eventually lost to Obama.
Lost to Obama.
Wondered why Steffie asked him about states banning contraceptives.
Cowered while Candy shuffled through her stack of stuff to find the transcript.

Yeah, what a resume.
The man can only win one home states that’s UT he lost in the other states he resides in (MI, MA, NH, and CA)
Romney won’t run so it doesn’t matter. Conservatives did not unify last time which is how Romney got nominated. I see no evidence yet of conservatives getting their act together and rallying behind a single candidate. The only potential unifying candidate I see right now is Ted Cruz. However he will face Rubio and the RNC machine.
That is usually the point. The other ‘person’ is so bad that any vote for the opposite is still a slide to the left and more .gov.
Romney will never be president.
Whatever his faults — and he has many — the most glaring is this: he hasn’t got the will to win.
He could have cut the Kenyan’s throat and bled him out completely with honest but ruthless and well-targeted campaign ads.
He could have left the tyrannical dung beetle squashed and dying on the debate stage like the insect that he is.
But Romney chose not to. Why? Open for debate. Many will say it’s because, in essence, he’s “one of them”. And that may be the case.
But “why” doesn’t really matter. The fact that he’s a bloodless, gutless empty suit who simply believes it’s his turn — but isn’t willing to fight for the prize — means he never WILL win the prize.
The Gop didn't run Ron Reagan...In fact, the GOP opposed Reagan...
Good luck with that. Better than Hillary or Elizabeth the Indian, but not by much.
How is Mitt going to explain this return to his pro-abortion position and returning to being against the GOP pro-life party platform after he won the nomination after fighting to convince conservatives that he had switched to pro-life when he started running for president in 2005?
August 27, 2012 CBS interview with Scott Pelley:
PELLEY: Well, the platform as written at this convention for the Republicans does not allow for exceptions on abortion with regard to the health of the mother or rape or incest. Is that where you are?
ROMNEY: No. My position has been clear throughout this campaign. Im in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother.
I won’t be voting for him.
I think it’s very unlikely he can win the nomination.
And if he did, he’d lose in November 2016.
It’s going to take an inspiring candidate to beat the Dems, and Mitt ain’t it.
Just great. Another Bob Dole, Bob Dole election.
he might run again..
but he won’t win.
You think conservatives sat it out last go around. you ain’t seen nothing yet.
add Bush to your list as well.
