If true, then why are any of us bothering to follow laws written in English? In other words, do our laws which are written in English only apply to those who speak it?

They also discriminate against people who don’t show up for work on time, that steal company property, sleep on the job and make threats against others. Let’s face it employers are just a bunch of discriminators.

It all gets back to buying leftist votes. Plain and simple. At the cost of the rights of REAL American citizens.

There are a lot of companies that will not hire you unless you speak Spanish. Is that discrimination based on National Origin?

This is insanity.

When the government tells businesses how to operate, isn’t it fascism?

Just saw this discussed on Fox Business w/ Gerri Willis.
Two lib, NYC lawyers saying the company was discriminating because these workers jobs didn’t involve speaking English.
English is becoming the common language world-wide and to do well in international and national arenas, you must know English. Case closed.
We need to declare English as our national language, no “oprima dos” and stop keeping these people stuck in the barrio.

Years ago, I had a boss who said,

“If you get paid in dollars, speak English”.

“If you get paid in pesos, you can speak Spanish.”

Time for that to make a comeback in the workforce.

The company that employs me has a factory in Mexico, they fired an engineer who refused to learn to speak English.

The owners are a Mexican family.

No they will not.

They will just have to fire the English-only crowd...

Welcome to the United States of Obama...

Hey! Here’s a idea. Let’s flood the country with more of these non-English speaking maggots. Lawsuits for everybody! We’ll all get rich! Asking an ***hole to speak the common language IS NOT “discrimination”. Anyone who thinks it is, is doing way too many “recreational” drugs and might want to lighten up on them. Especially those perverts in the black robes.

"The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), a federal agency [emphasis added] tasked with enforcing workplace discrimination laws, ..."
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

As mentioned in related threads, please consider the following. With the exception of the federal entities indicated in the Constitution's Clauses 16 & 17 of Section 8 of Article I as examples, entities under the exclusive legislative control of Congress, the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate any aspect of intrastate labor. So if the EEOC (also the NLRB and the EPA) wants to continue to exist then it needs to do the following.

The EEOC needs to encourage Congress to propose a workplace equality rights amendment to the Constitution to the states for ratification. The EEOC also needs Congress to propose an amendment to the Constitution to the states which would repeal the Constitution's Section 1 so that Congress can delegate legislative / regulatory powers to non-elected bureaucrats like those running the EEOC.

And if the states choose to ratify these amendments then Congress will have the speciific power to make laws to protect workplace equality rights which it can then delegate to the EEOC, and the EEOC will be a hero.

As a side note concerning the unconstitutionally big federal government, please consider this. What a dull, boring place the states would be to grow up in if parents were to make sure that their children were taught about the federal government's constitutionally limited powers the way that the Founding States had intended for those powers to be understood.
