You would think the RNSC would have known the “walking around money” they spent with democrats wouldn’t cover the final bill. The voting rights bill they want restored would rescind our Voter ID law, which ironically this primary and run-off was the first time it was in effect and rethuglicans ad democrats found another way to devalue my vote.
Right... the ‘system’ has been very good to them AND with NO input on their part.
They can live as well and in some cases better, than families and individuals who work and do not access government assistance.
I hope there is no one who wants to challenge that statement, because I grew up in a neighborhood where minorities lived JUST the same way the working families did.
AND...minority families with even ONE working adult received ‘assistance’ IN ADDITION to and despite their work income.
Also, minority ‘families’ would remain in their house while parents divorced. Females in this arrangement could get assistance as single parents, WHILE remaining in the home with their ‘former’ husbands.
Why sure he will be responsive to them...while ignoring the folks who returned him to office over and over; even calling them racist.
Thad is a faithless whore, and should be treated as such in the general. The main cause of Mississippi conservatives should be to defeat Cochran.
If they really think Cochran will pay off they are more stupid than I thought
It’s how it works in democrat circles. Black ‘leaders’ have their hands out as soon as ‘the community’ is handed over... delivered.
Of course none of that money filters down to the real black community... but those people are used to being played for fools...
And even if he promises them the moon in the general election, they will shuffle back to the plantation and vote for the Democrat. Cochran knows that and he thinks he can still win. The important point is that he did what he needed to do to win the primary and can ignore the blacks in the general election because he knows what they will do.
Gee, he’s treating them just like the Democrats treat them....

No he did not. Politico is lying again. He did it by race baiting and smearing.
He can easily do that, since this is probably his last term in the Senate, due to age and health issues.
Yeah, the Congressional Black Caucus and the NAALCP might want to forward their “wish list” to one Haley Barbour. As I understand it, Thad is supposed to resign the seat in a couple of years, and Phil Bryant will appoint one of Haley’s offspring to fill the vacancy. Mr. GOP-e is pulling all the strings on this one.

The only way for them to get payola from Thad is to vote for him again...
because republicans sure won’t turn out in numbers high enough for him to win in the general.
