Breaking The Chris McDaniel campaign identified multiple Mississippi counties in which enough improper ballots were cast that a legal challenge to the outcome of the election is warranted. This comes after 25,000-35,000 Democrat votes helped push Thad Cochran to victory over Chris McDaniel (by 6,880 votes) in the June 24 runoff.
The McDaniel campaign has already found 1,000 examples in one county of Democrats who voted in the June 3rd primary as Democrats and then crossed over into the Republican primary this week. This is illegal and their votes should not be counted.
Update Lindsay Krout, an independent contractor working in Mississippi, was barred from reviewing voter rolls in Lafayette County Mississippi Friday morning.

To serve as a built-in excuse for not making them available for scrutiny.
YES! If we’re going down we take the corruptors with us. We have ONLY our vote as our weapon and must use it, to at least try to save ourselves.
We arevthe last line of RESISTANCE to a totalitarian regime of Uni Party!
The election will be certified with about the same result that is published in the press. Cochran wins with a 6,400 or 6,700 or so (I forget which) margin of victory. The loser has the right to challenge the result. I don't think there is any significant time pressure. General election isn't until November.
Right now McDaniel has 1,000 or more known instances of invalid ballots. That knowledge will NOT change the election clerk's report at all. The election clerk is going to report all the ballots, even the invalid ones. That is going to happen no matter how long they are stalled on calling the race.
The whole thing stinks. It reminds me of something that was done a couple of elections ago in Washington State where a Democratic state senator who had a moderate role in just one budget vote, was attacked by organized labor. They ran someone against her in the primary election as a Republican who basically stole all her thunder. That “RINO” backed by organized labor and the ultra liberal elements of the Democratic party got more votes than the incumbent democrat. Of course another Democratic Party primary candidate with an ultra-labor perspective came in first in the primary. So in the final election, the ultra-liberal won hands down after the money disappeared for the RINO. Both parties are into getting what they want, the people be damned.
"That hasn't been my experience."
DRUDGE REPORT
The flashing light isn’t on my screen.
Or just burn the place down. Let’s get this thing going.
That would take to long.
And (as a GOP party guru told me), starting a Republican civil war does not benefit the conservative’s.
Still, I am not surprised. They stole the Iowa Caucuses from Santorum. We no longer have real elections.
THANK YOU for a meat and potatoes post!
Finally the process is refreshed. Thanks so much!
I copied in the Drudge Tweet. Probably loading the story right now.
Fox and Fiends ignored the WHOLE subject this morning.
Guess Aisles got s phone call from Rove
I would be willing to bet that any Democrat that took the time to vote in the runoff election would have also been one who took the time to vote in the earlier election.
I’d almost be willing to bet that every Democrat vote is an illegal one.
Do just some counties put ss# in the documents? They didn’t run into this problem in other counties...
No worries. The files are all backed up on hard drives. Wait...breaking news...the hard drives have all crashed.

It’s not the Democrats pulling this switcheroo.
It is the establishment Republicans. And the refusal to permit the review of the voting patterns of normally Democrat voters must border on the unlawful, only it cannot be attributed solely to the Democrats involved. The establishment Republicans would trade away the opportunity to bring a fresh face to the Senate, for the dubious benefit of retaining a “loyal” supporter of pork for Mississippians.
I think the poll book form (layout) and content is uniform across the state. The printout of the Hinds County sheet has SSN’s (redacted), and I think there was some reference to a Secretary of State Form No. at the bottom.
“McDaniel voters should just vote for the Democrat in November.”
No, this is when you vote Libertarian or, better yet, get a TEA partier to run some other third-party
How about removing their walking around priveleges?
If the registry is electronic it would take less than a minute to run a report with the SSN redacted. Anyone know the what the format of the registry is?
