Chris McDaniel, onthe blatantly unethical and illegal tactics employed by Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour in the Mississippi GOP runoff Tuesday
McDaniel: I am a two-term state senator, I have fought for this party my entire life, Ive given money Ive done everything theyve asked me to do and last night, they pulled over 35,000 Democrats into a Republican primary to defeat me we feel betrayed.
Hannity: Do you foresee any circumstance under which you would support this guy? Because I dont think I could do it.
McDaniel: I prayed about it last night my core principle is gonna have a hard time even looking at politics again.
Hannity: You sound like you got punched in the gut. You sound like youve been betrayed.
McDaniel: Sean, I was I have fought for these people. These are my colleagues. They are my friends I dont understand!
But Ted Cruz has bigger fish to fry
I certainly congratulate my colleague, Thad, Cruz said on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, pointing out that the Republican establishment poured millions into the Mississippi race and only won by a thin margin. Cruz reminded the hosts that he did not endorse a candidate in the Mississippi primary, as he promised to stay out of incumbent Senate races.
As does Rand
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a potential 2016 presidential contender, declined to support tea party critics of Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochrans efforts to mobilize non-GOP voters to win the Republican nomination.
Im for more people voting, not less people voting, Paul told reporters Wednesday.
I agree that Cruz could have used the opportunity better. But I also think he in effect was damning cockroach with faint praise.
Nope.
The worst person to lie to is God.
It does happen that “In God I Trust” is found (in various ways) in the Psalms.
If it had been me I hope I would have said something like “Well, it looks like you won the runoff in Mississippi” and nothing more.
The primary strategy has been reasonably effective. But like any tool used against evil, sooner or later evil starts learning to adapt.
I think denying the gop wing of the uniparty the seat in the general by a large margin would be an interesting and effective tactic. Just keep in mind that this IS the uniparty we’re talking about, so as long as a uniparty candidate wins, they’re ok with it. Start looking outside the ballot box if you want to really win.
OK, you got a big fog of philosophy between you and Him.
Yeah I am going to thump the bible, enough to open it up to the first pages.
Right away you have God talking...
And in a couple of chapters, God is also walking... He kills and skins an animal and makes garments...
Then He eventually descends into the creation again in the form of a man and dies an ugly death in full view.
Get rid of the false reverence that God never wanted.
The only thing that displaces evil is not... “good people.”
It’s God.
Nope, I don't.
I just try, in my way, to sincerely and humbly thank the Lord and ask him for his help each day, in fact at the start and at end of each day.
I trust in his guidance, which I ask for.
I'm a bare bones, no frills Christian, a simple man, when it comes to the Lord.
Ditto!
I hope you are right. One thing for certain, the GOPes conduct in this race destroys that old saying about voting for the most conservative candidate that can win. Time to sacrifice some seats and focus on the war.

The nut doesn't fall far from the tree!
DO NOT TRUST RAND PAUL!
Amen bros. I don’t trust him. I like a lot of what he stands for, but he is not philosophically pure - he is subject to listening to beltway hack consultants, trying so hard to thread the needle of being conservative base friendly and estab acceptable.
That dawg don’t hunt ..
Im for more people voting, not less people voting, Paul told reporters Wednesday.
Every single day Rand Paul says something that confirms that he is either insane, a complete idiot, or a turncoat.
Perhaps all three.
Actually, to get into any medical school, you have had to have pretty good grades along the way. Hard work can sometimes carry an average intellect a long way, but there’s a point at which the ability required to pass the tests calls for a hard working person with an above average intellect. So, I tend to agree with you that doctors trained in this country have to be above average. (I’m not speaking about the Medical College of the Caribbean Islands.)
Knowing what we know about nepotism, we need to carve out a small exception for those whose parents are so powerful that no school would deny them entry and no school would be comfortable denying them graduation. That does exist in this country. We need to carve out that one small exception, and then we’re on pretty solid ground.
I dont think hes very smart, and he knows it, so he allows himself to be over handled by consultants.
“Way past time to rid ourselves of these hacks by any political means available.”
***************************************************************
I agree. And if McDaniel’s legal challenge is unsuccessful (which is the likely outcome) then the only available means is to SUPPORT the Democrat opponent. And I don’t mean to abstain from voting in that race; I mean to VOTE FOR TRAVIS CHILDER. As soon as I find out that the challenge is unsuccessful and Cochran is the candidate, I’m contributing to the Childer campaign.
The reality is that throughout the bible God used evil men/empires to punish/refine His people. That is His plan with anti-Christ as well. It is well to remember that Moses went to Pharaoh many times with 'let my people go' as the message. Pharaoh refused many times, establishing a pattern. The Bible tells that God then 'hardened' Pharaoh's heart. In other words, God 'fixed' that heart in the pattern it had set for itself, and God used it to accomplish His purposes.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
