But rather than pondering the motives of 3,188 Mississippi voters who made the difference in a bitter, hyper-local election, there’s a more useful consideration today. What’s at stake nationally this year is control of the U.S. Senate, and Republican chances of taking the majority went up significantly Tuesday night.

You know, you might be right, the dems will vote for their man. He just might be able to pull it off by getting the Republicans to come out and vote instead of staying home.
Mississippi will not lose. However, if Mississippi loses then kiss the Senate goodbye and welcome Harry Reid back to the fold for another 2 years at least.....2016 is UGLY for republicans in the Senate. So we want to kick Cochran and McConnell to the curb....who else can we get rid of? Why even stop there. Why not just get rid of all of them and keep 2 Senators Cruz and Lee.....and then maybe we can get the Conservative running in Iowa....that would be 3. Perhaps that might make it better for us.
If he can’t win a primary where voters know him. How can he possibly win a write-in? I know it was done in Alaska but it is very rare.
And remember this, just as in 2012, we’ll assist the Democrats in destroying all of our presidential candidates in 2016. And for good measure, we’ll bitch about the last candidate standing.
We are our own worst enemy.
Running as an independent just makes him look like a sore loser. If he has a case for voter fraud, make it. But I am tired of Democrats running things because Republicans throw a tantrum and get Democrats elected.

In the sense that the repuke establishment and Fox are Democrats, yes, but there wasn’t the overt turnout of black Democrats for Romney in Iowa and New Hampshire. This is a new level of fraud.
Don’t count on thad winning in November with a Conservative Republican running as a write in. I’m not going to choose between democrat thad and democrat travis. The RSC, elite rinos and Cochran pissed ff a lot of Conservative Republican Missippians. In Desoto county the turnout increased from the primary and Senator McDaniel’s vote percentage went from 62.9% to 69+% where he again carried all 39 prescient’s. I believe we’re the 4th most populous county in the state.
Unless we get people who actually respect the rule of law, it won’t matter if they’ve all got R by their name or not. What difference does R next to the name mean if they are ALL committed to play the same “screw the people, the Constitution, and the rule of law” game?

Well, actually, it depends on what a person is trying to “conserve”. I define a “conservative” as one who is trying to keep the Constitution, the rule of law, and the principles in our founding documents.
I suppose somebody trying to keep the status quo corruption could claim they were trying to “conserve” something. In that way, every liberal democrat in the country is also a “conservative” - trying to keep the corrupt status quo.
Is that what you mean by “conservative”?
Use caucuses instead of primaries.

Most states have some kind of write-in law. You are correct that not all do. Ohio, like Texas, must be declared candidates to be COUNTED. There is no law against writing in anyone.
I remember wondering what kept dem voters on the plantation when their choice of candidates was so terrible. The Rep. act no differently.
This last election does prove one thing to me. We need to support tea party candidates on the ticket, and 3rd party where they are not. Had we started this decades ago, instead of listing to the “they can’t win” crowd, we wouldn’t be in this mess now.

We should have done this when Bush’s congress started spending like maniacs. Maybe we would never have lost both wings of the legislature then.
No more unity. I will vote for the Tea Party candidate, and then if they lose, I will vote third party or write in.
