I remember wondering what kept dem voters on the plantation when their choice of candidates was so terrible. The Rep. act no differently.
This last election does prove one thing to me. We need to support tea party candidates on the ticket, and 3rd party where they are not. Had we started this decades ago, instead of listing to the “they can’t win” crowd, we wouldn’t be in this mess now.
We should have done this when Bush’s congress started spending like maniacs. Maybe we would never have lost both wings of the legislature then.
No more unity. I will vote for the Tea Party candidate, and then if they lose, I will vote third party or write in.
I agree I’ve said it a few times yesterday that had we been pursuing a viable 3rd party even as recent as the rise of the Tea Party, we’d actually be making some headway instead of just considering it NOW.
