Can he do this though, having already been in the Republican primary? Any further details?
Dang - I missed that part ...
I think he should wait to primary Wicker in 2018.
Find someone else to run third party if greedy Wicker refuses to resign.
Well, he won’t win. And, he’d pretty much hand the seats to the Dems.
and that would make a difference, how?
What difference, at this time, does it make?
The seat already got handed to the Dems genius. They got their candidate, Thad Cochran. He won with Democrat votes.
I guess the only other option is write in ...
If it’s good enough for MurKOWski....
I’m pretty sure we have a sore loser law as well.
The other possibility is a write-in like Mur’cow’ski did in Alaska and won.
Write-in?
Any republican that voted for McDaniel should feel DISENFRANCHISED.
No way I would vote for Thad after the way those sleazeballs pulled the rug out from under true republicans. Thad had to rely on democrats to win.
He’s been there too long. He’s part of the problem — not part of the solution.
Two Republicans running in the general election might guarantee victory for the Democrat.
About 35% of eligible voters in Mississippi are Black.
Any successful Republican candidate will need 80% of the white vote to win.
Splitting the white vote two ways almost guarantees a Democrat victory.
Well, he wont win. And, hed pretty much hand the seats to the Dems.
The dems are the ones that handed the republican nomination to him. The party needs a lesson.
But could use a 'write-in' campaign to organize a 'Tea-Party' ...
If I lived in Mississippi I would vote Rat or stay home. Living in Texas I will not be voting for Juan Cornrows I will either vote Rat or not at all. The GOPe needs a serious lesson.
The Republican Party is NOT compelled to hold “Open Primaries,” where Democrats can cast the deciding votes.
If we pay for and manage our own primary elections, we can write the election rules any way we like.
But, since we ask Mississippi taxpayers to pay for our primary elections, we have to obey federal and state laws.
So, what difference will it make? A true Democrat win or a RINO - same thing.
