You said human borders did not matter to God, I provided a scriptural reference of nations coming under severe judgment for altering borders. So, God does care about human borders.

1) Do you think there was or will be a day when God gathers the nations for judgment?
2) The language of Joel is apocalyptic and not intended to be taken literally.
3) But if it is, the land that is divided is Israel and the nations that did the dividing are being judged by God for dividing...

By the way, social justice administered by a governing entity is a bad idea. But social justice administered by God-fearing people that care for the WHOLE person is good.

What does our Saviour say about beggars. I believe the U.S. WAS built on strong Christian values and believe is why our country is great and WAS is why it is declining. And the invasion of our borders and lawlessness just may be a plague. Now preach to those “kids” feed them bread and water and send them back to their country to spread the Gospel so they too may flourish one day. In the meantime close the borders.

What have I stopped short of saying? I have compassion for the children that are fleeing their countries in search of something better. Period.
Nations are raised up and brought low by God as are their leaders, bexardave. There is ample scripture to this effect. No borders means one world authority. That authority will ultimately be anti-Christ. Prophecy tells us this. So, removal of borders ushers in the diametric opposite of God.

My point in this whole discussion tonight is that sometimes being a Christian and learning and applying the teachings of Jesus creates a tension with our politics...

Let those adults stand up as men and women and change their own countries into something better, instead of coming here to bleed us dry.
