Stephen King ✔ @StephenKing
Multiple gunshot wounds last night at Red Rocks. We regulator booze and tobacco; it's time to regulate firearms.

Trying unsuccessfully to grok that pic, too... that’s not a crow, it’s a falcon of some sort?

Are you pulling our legs with a bit of friendly sarcasm, since hi hop “artists” were the performers playing to mostly Amish crowd.

"Stephen King: Hey, isnt it time for guns to be regulated like booze and tobacco?" Coming from a guy who has become a millionaire just from the series that started with the book called:
Wait for it...
Wait for it:...

I never read the revisions, so I couldn't really say one way or the other. I was a 13 year old kid when, "The Gunslinger," came out in 1982, and eagerly awaited each sequel, reading them as they were published. IMHO, the series is by far and away King's best stuff, though some of the mythology is interwoven with his other non-Dark Tower fiction.
If you plan on reading the series, I would recommend picking up a copy of The Dark Tower Companion.

Books too. No one ‘needs’ dozens of books from the same author.
To: Lazamataz
I saw we regulate writers. Their ideas can be dangerous. They need to take a class, get fingerprinted, and have a background check, then get a license. Mental illness such as King has would disqualify him.

Yeah, regulating booze really protected people from intoxication at that venue.

Okay, thanks. I didn’t know the Companion existed; I’ll have to pick one up.
I’ve read almost all of his novels, so I’m interested in seeing how the story relates to some of his other books.

"Ive read almost all of his novels, so Im interested in seeing how the story relates to some of his other books." Actually you'll find it's the other way 'round. His other books all relate to the Dark Tower ;-)
