“I imagine that number will go up when the doc says, ‘Well, you can keep the child, but all the medical bills for her XYZ problem won’t be covered.’”

Jaysus. You just made my heart stop! Because that could very well happen these days!

People will need to stand up to evil, and to do so they will first need to call God into their pictures again.

Even with all the problems medical costs have had, there was NO reason that quality of care had to get this crappy. Except for a country and a Court that rolled over (so far) for Bummercare.

It’s already happening in countries with government healthcare.

Very easily could happen. And just think of all the treatments that won’t be done no matter what your age is; with all of the high-deductibles now. Not too many folks have an extra $10,000 to spend every year on their medical problems. One MIGHT risk a heart attack, but they know for sure that they can’t afford a triple bypass.
