The planet is not a peaceful place, and the U.S. no longer ranks in the top 100 most peaceful nations. It stands at No. 101, according to the annual Global Peace Index, a complex analysis that quantifies the relative peacefulness of 162 nations.
Released Wednesday, the eighth annual assessment is data-driven and measures such things as internal crime statistics, political forces, refugee activity, population trends and other factors including terrorism, the number of homicides and economic conditions.
The most peaceful spot? Iceland, followed by Denmark and Austria.

How many of these “peaceful countries” don’t have to spend much money on defense because we defended them fromthe commies for the last 70 years?
Thanks to Obama!
The US is kind of like the EU. It is fifty states, all of which have different stats.
It is absurdly peaceful where I live. Less so in certain parts of Chicago.
And how many have low crime rates because they don’t have blacks and Hispanics doubling or tripling their crime rates? How many don’t have millions of illegal aliens swarming across their borders?
I wonder would happen to Iceland’s crime rate if all of Obama’s sons moved there.
As you might imagine, other countries ranking in the top tier for safety include places like New Zealand, Canada, Japan and other countries in Scandinavia and central Europe.
Other than some wealth, the only other thing they have in common is an appalling lack of diversity. And many of the countries in this group (Poland, Czech Republic, etc.) aren't very wealthy.
How many of those more peaceful countries have 34 cities of over 500,000 people where most of the violent crime takes place.
I could get into returning to my Bohemian heritage, oompa bands and bier, jaaaa!
The most peaceful spot? Iceland, followed by Denmark and Austria. .............. My guess is they keep outsiders out or to a minimum, and those that come in have at least something to contribute? However, lately Denmark seems to have a problem with that. I still wouldn’t mind living in Denmark, my roots are there and the Danes are friendly. Iceland is also inhabited with Danes.
I would move to Austria too, but that would mean I’d have to learn to speak Austrian. :)
Lots of change. Absolutely no hope.

The writing is on the wall. All of Obama’s followers have gone Ray Charles on us...
Damn Amish.
No. It’s the damn inequality they keep blaming it on. It’s keeping them down. Good they MLK, Ben Carson, and Allen West didn’t buy into that crap and made so etching of themselves. Truth be told I don’t view them the same way I do Obama’ sons and there’s good reason for it. Maybe they’ll figure it out someday...

My computer’s lagging. Had to reboot to get NSA off my tail... Lol
I’ll bet the people in CHICAGO AND DETROIT would tell you different..
Your post says a whole lot actually. It’s not rocket science. Our society has changed for the worse because of the influx (and baby daddy birthrate) of both groups.
You can’t change the culture of some groups unless it’s by the Grace of God.
