Someone needs to explain how it is that, at the IRS, people are storing emails on hard drives. No one does that anymore.
The press and the left would go with the meme of “the informant was bribed” to dismiss whatever evidence they brought.
Are they sure it isn’t behind the Xerox machine?
When is anybody going to state the obvious: this is willful and illegal/criminal destruction of evidence.
Since when are emails stored on hard drives?
The time for impeachment is now. Period.
$50K is mere pocket change for him and his masters. He should have done serious time for theft of the nation’s records.
Had he been a Republican he wouldn’t be walking the streets today.
Remember Mission Impossible, “this tape will self destruct in 15 seconds”. Have they looked in Hillary’s bedroom closet; that’s where the Whitewater files were found.
Kidding aside, someone lower in the food chain, was smart enough to cover their a*s and printed the instructions they received from a higher up. They need to put pressure on these people and hopefully get the smoking gun.
Does not matter if you throw the hard drive away. All mail is on a network server that is backed up automatically.
This is the way my company does it and anyone else who uses Microsoft Exchange. There is also the federal law requiring the backup of email.
like monica’s blue dress,
That “hard drive” could be these creeps undoing.
Bet someone has it somewhere.
Could be a bit valuable.
well said..
encrypted stuff is shredded so the data is unrecoverable. This was purposeful, no doubt at all.
Every single hardware recycler in the country keeps a written record of what they destroyed. Show me the lifecycle documentation showing the incoming serial number from the manufacturer, that that serials number was the same as the one in Lerner's computer, that she did not attach to email servers or POPped her email as opposed to Exchange or IMAP, and show me the recycling company's manifesto of serial numbers destroyed/recycled... then, I MIGHT believe you.
These people should be in jail.
But the big problem is Eric Holder would be the man in charge....so...FORGETABOUTIT..!!
Almost. There is no "restore until you get about where you need to be data wise". The mail store is an .ese file (Jet database). It's all one big, monolithic file with no discernible sequencing or mailbox differentiation, so you have to mount the entire store to make any sense of it.
Major crimes have been committed here.
email is not stored locally on the desktop/laptop unless they intentionally set it up that way.
It is stored on the server. They are a bunch of lying, stealing, traitors who deserve justice. But they won’t face justice, they’ll continue down their merry way.
But you repeat yourself.
