I'll spend a month down there to do my part, all volunteer with no pay.
I'm sure there are at least another 1-hundred-thousand also willing to give
a little time towards our border protection.
Just deputize us and we'll build that fence and seal that border nice and tight!
I'll bring all my tools, including a nice 16" deterrent.

This may be a little out there but it was a thought I had this a.m. when reading an article about all the illegals. It seems to me that TX, AZ & NM have a right to protect their own borders. IF that is in fact the case, then why couldn’t they build a big fence? I suspect if normal citizens (e.g., we Americans), heard about it, they’d be all for it — we could set up a Build the Dang Fence Fund and us regular folks could contribute whatever they could - $5, $10, $20, etc. Maybe Trump, the Koch Bros or other similarly situated (money-wise) people could send large amounts. Ranchers would probably be happy to contribute.
I suspect there would be volunteers, such as yourself, to help with the building (IIRC Texas is a RTW state, so wouldn’t have to worry about unions). There are probably contractors and suppliers (especially in TX) that would contribute materials or give a huge discount on them.
Just some thoughts I had early this morning while having coffee. Oh well, tomorrow is another day, for another daydream.

You can meet their “act of love” with an act of terminal ballistics.

Better bring something a bit longer. Engagement ranges down there run long.

Just deputize us and well build that fence and seal that border nice and tight! I'll bring all my tools, including a nice 16" deterrent. Texas is loaded with fence companies. There must be more fence in Texas then any other state by far.
