Isis Convoys of New Toyota Trucks

Posted on 06/16/2014 11:24:20 AM PDT by varmintman

I don't want to cite any one source for this one since a lot of the sites you'll see this story on are not exactly right of center pollitically... Nonetheless anybody can do a simple Google search on [ ISIS toyota trucks ] and multiple versions of the story will turn up, along with images, e.g.

The question you have to ask yourself is, Could I afford a new Toyota truck that easily??

If the answer is no, than you should be bent out of shape more than a little bit here. Real rebels and terrorists are supposed to be poor and operate on shoestring budgets; this appears to be your and my tax dollars at at work along with whatever contributions the Saudis might be making...

I’m told you’re likely to find a broken taillight on each truck. I understand Toyota puts a key behind the taillight. That’s why the “technicals” (machinegun mounted trucks) all over Africa are using Toyotas.

Is the only popular color "Sandstorm" over there?

their war chest is over 2 billion...

This is not your father’s Al Qaeda, this is a true Caliphate. In fact Turkey and some tribes of Kurds already acknowledge ISIS as a governing body.

IRAN envisions IRAQ will be split between them (Shi’ites) the Kurds and ISIS (SUNNI) but given all I have read Iran is pipe-dreaming that ISIS will settle for that solution.

Fox News was saying early on that they are well funded, but didn’t say by whom.

ISIS started as Syrian rebels. Aren’t these John McCain’s pals?

Possible they raided a Toyota dealership?

Or a Jihadi setup a dealership to get a bunch of vehicles...

Take your pick...

Identical Toyota trucks all painted the same color . Somebody bought those to specification and spent a lot of money to do so.

It would take a lot of time to place such an order

[ Those guys are in BIG trouble. Not one of them have a license plate. ]

Obviously all the Iraq Parlement has to do is pass a law to require license plates and the invasion of Bagdhad will be thwarted...

They’re small, maneuverable, fast, and cheap.

Custer was in a ‘target rich environment’.
