Damn.. I have a Tundra myself, built in San Antonio.
Those guys may be a bunch of ratbags but they have some good trucks.
To: varmintman
I’m told you’re likely to find a broken taillight on each truck. I understand Toyota puts a key behind the taillight. That’s why the “technicals” (machinegun mounted trucks) all over Africa are using Toyotas.

Those guys are in BIG trouble. Not one of them have a license plate.

their war chest is over 2 billion...
This is not your father’s Al Qaeda, this is a true Caliphate. In fact Turkey and some tribes of Kurds already acknowledge ISIS as a governing body.
IRAN envisions IRAQ will be split between them (Shi’ites) the Kurds and ISIS (SUNNI) but given all I have read Iran is pipe-dreaming that ISIS will settle for that solution.

Fox News was saying early on that they are well funded, but didn’t say by whom.

Identical Toyota trucks all painted the same color . Somebody bought those to specification and spent a lot of money to do so.
It would take a lot of time to place such an order

Toyota pick ups have been the dominant combat vehicle for the past 30 years. I remember I think back in the 1980s Chad defeated a Libyan invasion armed with Soviet tanks with dude firing RGPs and the like from Toyota Pick up trucks.

Let me see. They are Sunnis. So whoever provided them must be Sunni, rich and in the Middle East and interested in blocking Iran.
WHO could that be??
I haven’t a clue. (Sarcasm)

If the answer is no, than you should be bent out of shape more than a little bit here. Real rebels and terrorists are supposed to be poor and operate on shoestring budgets; this appears to be your and my tax dollars at at work along with whatever contributions the Saudis might be making... What makes you think they bought them and didn't just take them from the Mosul Toyota dealership at the point of a gun?
To: varmintman
One of my brothers worked as a contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan building roads and bridges. The U.S. paid him well for his work, but I wonder if he envisioned how they would be used.
