I’ve had a thought. Brat’s 100% rating from Numbers USA is part of it. Brat is an established Economics professor at a local college. His Economics common sense might have motivated former students to vote for him. With the relatively small numbers involved, a few thousand of them could make a difference.

Michael Steele is claiming the RNC is considering Cantor as chairman. That makes the RNC about as clueless as Cantor. The beltway Republicans’ biggest problem is that they view everything from inside the beltway. They have no idea what is going on in ‘real’ America. They are out of touch.
