The Talk Shows
June 15th, 2014
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Reps. Greg Walden, R-Ore., Tom Price, R-Ga., and Mike Rogers, R-Mich.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Mitt Romney; Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va.; Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Reps. Eric Cantor, R-Va., Michael McCaul, R-Texas, and Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Cantor; Graham; Reps. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., and Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii.
Manchin also came out when he was running for the senate a few years ago and had a campaign commercial showing him taking target practice at a sign that read “OBAMACARE”. He ran against Obamacare and that was the primary reason he was elected. The minute he was sworn in he signed on to ObamaCare. Just a political opportunist of the first degree that will say and do anything to hold on to power.
I can understand whey nobody wants Dave Brat on their show. He is too articulate and would make all of them look like the chumps they are. It would be like the Philistines inviting David over for another round.
Time after time. All the time.
Unless of course, the Obama-Bergdahl 5 all lead quiet lives of meditation and peace mongering. I wonder what the Vegas line on that is.
Hey Mycroft when do you and Sherlock stop running re-runs we want new stuff.!
Morning Folks,
Rain, rain, rain..SUN!...rain, rain, rain.
Thanks for the ping and thread AB.
No Dave Brat? Really News shows? Time for a new Sunday News show with 3 hosts -Rush, Mark and Bill Cunningham. Those 3 would be great hosts.
Laura Ingraham tweeted she saw Eric Cantor in the green room on This Week, she is on the panel today
Yeah, Cantor, Myth, Linda, Munchkin...likely suspects.
Oh, and Republicans Mike Rogers, Tom Price and Greg Walden. I like Rogers and Tom Price, sponsor of HR 3000.
Except FOX.
Tom Price.
Mass killings in Tikrit as ISIS(Islamic State in Iraq) leaves a bloody trail behind them as they march towards Baghdad.
These clowns killed hundreds of perceived govt. types in Tikrit by making them lay down in a ditch and then assassinating them.
Also they have the support of the Saudis, stole 429 million from the Mosul central banks(making them super rich among terror types) they took over that city imposing Shaira law everywhere they go almost immediately. And, vowing to take Baghdad and who knows where else.
Sad thing is that much of this could have been prevented if zero had leaned on al Maliki to include Sunni representation in his govt. instead of freezing them out. This was almost predictable.
Add in not leaving a caretaker force of at least 30k US troops and ISIS became inevitable.
Sad to say but same will happen in Afghanistan as our regime sets them up for the same fall. Remove troops, give them terror Taliban leadership from club gitmo and sit back and watch it all happen.
Sick group we have in dc.
Since they became RATagandists. Confirming all anyone needs to know.
Yes, I like the military radio code for acronyms, like Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, for example. Do you have a list of favorites?
Similarly, since I am annoyed by words made up by the press such as "Qaeda" and Qatar"...I have started the "Rocklobster's Redneck Guide to Islamic Spelling".
Fun to watch Jane Harman stutter and stammer on FNS in her attempt to defend Ozero.
Great to see that Iraq is everyone’s fault except Obama’s. How long before they pull out the Bush excuse?
Obama an always blame Bush for Afghanistan and Iraq. He does not have that luxury with the Bergdahl trade.
If we had that, we'd be doing backflips about our medical insurance.
Oh, yes indeed...
My two younger brothers (one AF, one a Jarhead) got off active duty shortly before I and all of us were lingering at home while the job/school start dates arrived. Mom absolutely marveled for years about how our speech had slowed and how carefully we seemed to be choosing and enunciating our words.
Yeah, we'd all heard the story about the minister come to Sunday dinner and "Pass the ****ing butter, please"...and we all knew that Dad (Army Air Corps Major) would not approve a reenactment.
Now? Well, I'm addicted to brevity, but manage to keep the language squared away. Particularly if the kids or grandkids are around.
I'd almost forgotten how those two year-olds pick up everything they hear....
FNS
Harmon would not lay the current situation in Iraq at Obama’s feet.
In typical lib/dem/leftist excuse-ism, she goes on to claim “mistakes were made.”

[It is interesting that they always revert to the grammatically passive voice, as if it raises them from guilt by making the issue a ‘shared’ responsibility.
I consider that the same way I recall Perky Katie always using “there are those who say” and/or “some say” without ever identifying who ‘those’ or ‘some’ are.]
