House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) failed to congratulate or even acknowledge Dave Brat in his concession speech last night.
Neither did Cantor offer Brat his support in November's general election against his Democratic opponent, or call Brat to concede the race, according to Brat.
"Cantor's concession speech did not mention Dave once," Brat's campaign manager Zach Werrell noted to Breitbart News.

Dana Bash on Cantor Loss: ‘Sad’ That Republicans Now Won’t ‘Compromise’
There is no point in continuing. you are not speaking from a factual position. you are trying, as you have been, to rewrite the facts in evidence.
FR is full of daily examples of solid, factually accurate examples of RINOS siding with Democrats to hurt America. DAILY. HOURLY.
People either support that or they do not. Period. As I told you earlier there is no such thing as a little pregnant. Likewise there is no such thing as not supporting RINOs while putting/keeping them in power. The very act of helping put or keep a rino in power is the textbook definition of support. You do not oppose a person into office.
Thus, what they do, they do with/because of the support of those that put them there. And yes, only an abject moron would try arguing otherwise.
That is the exact mentality used by the cheshires. Exact.
It’s just unbelievable that people support people that are so malleable.
One either has principles, or one does not. And if one does have principles, they should stand fast by them.
And we always seem to be at the mercy of those with no principles... or at least, those with Un-American values and principles.
Iowahawk aka David Burgee post this on twitter today.
No matter how low your opinion of Washington, it’s nothing compared to Washington’s low opinion of you.

It isn't a matter of whether Brat feels personally offended or doesn't have better things to do. Cantor's snub puts the lie to every single RINO and GOP-e supporter who harp on so-called "purist conservatives" that we must "unite behind the winner" and "defeat the real enemy" (presumably Democrats). If Cantor had won, you can bet it would be the first complaint from his side if Brat a) didn't congratulate him and b) didn't immediately tell his supporters to get behind Cantor in the general. There would be FReepers doing it too -- oh, c'mon guys, the primary was hard fought and your guy lost, now we have to hold our noses blah blah blah.
Cantor is an ass for this slight and represents just one of the myriad problems with the GOP-e.
Truer words.
I loathe cheshires. Loathe. If there were a stronger word that would work, I’d use it.
ALL the trouble we have is the direct result of cheshires siding with ‘lesser evil instead of standing for something and fighting what they CLAIM is bad...
Until the loss of blankie. then it is not bad. Then you are bad.
I loathe cheshires. Absolute gutless, unprincipled crap.
I agree Boehner is a terrible leader. He has no apparent ability to publicize good policy. Don’t forget. The House has voted against Obamacare many times. It goes nowhere, and Boehner does nothing to rally our side. However, I disagree that he’s blocking someone good from holding the seat. It’s the voters who are blocking someone else, not Boehner. They had the power, made the choice, and Boehner is the party’s preferred candidate for that seat. We don’t agree with that choice, but the most “good” candidate in a democracy is the one with the most votes. They say he’s good.
I agree it’s a bad situation with the RNC, but what’s the alternative? Forgive me if I thought you were willing to vote for a Democrat to defeat a perceived RINO. Some here have claimed to want to do exactly that.
No. I’m not saying someone should vote against their principles to support a RINO. I personally believe that’s a better outcome than letting a Democrat win, but I refuse to demean anyone who doesn’t agree with me. I also want to make it absolutely clear that I want the RINOs defeated across the board in primaries, even if that means we might lose some of those seats to Democrats. Since no one can predict the future, I don’t buy into “electability” arguments for backing RINOs in primaries.
You worry about “us” trying to make the Republican Party “more pure”?!?! Are you out of your mind?!? Why on God’s earth are you willing to support the types of people who have literally said THEY WANT TO DECIMATE YOU??? “More pure?” I just want someone who doesn’t make fun of everything I believe in while aiding and abetting lawbreakers and infiltrators of this country! Wow, how radical and PURIST of me.
“...this slight and represents just one of the myriad problems ...”
I’d say it sure as hell represents what they think of us and the Tea Party who just handed them their arsch...
I hear you brother. Loud and clear.
Did I mention I loathe cheshires? CuZ I do ;)
What about “Mad Hatters”??? :^)
They make poor Presidents. As we have seen ;)

“Are you out of your mind?!?”
Rhetorical question?
Not sure I see a difference between him and the lesser evil fan club on FR to tell the truth. Same end goals.
“He refuses to admit the damage the GOP does and he will always invent an excuse to keep them in power.”
Now you’re trying to put words in my mouth...er, in my posts. Where exactly have I ever written that the GOP isn’t doing damage to the country? I’ve actually written over and over that RINOs are bad for the country. You seem to keep missing my point. Democrats are worse.
What’s your alternative? No RINOs? More Democrats? How is that going to help fix anything?
-— Neither did Cantor offer Brat his support in November’s general election against his Democratic opponent -—
He will be making an official announcement today, probably regarding a write-in campaign.
The RINOs don’t want to rally behind the primary winner, for some mysterious reason.
