WASHINGTON Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel apparently isnt going to let the Obama administration throw him under the bus in the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl scandal. In fact, you could say just the opposite.
In his opening statement this morning at a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee, Hagel made a point of saying it was President Obama who made the final decision to swap Bergdahl for five top Taliban leaders, with the full support of his national security team.

The WH was walking back this remark yesterday afternoon. I believe they tried to blame Hagel, but knew that people knew only Obama could make such a decision.
In the interview she said the notes were ‘her own private notes’.
Sorry, Hill, but anything you said/did/thought while SOS is NOT private.
OK, looks like Rep. Forbes wants to turn the heat up....thank goodness!!!
The Admin tells so many lies they can’t keep them straight.
But, they don’t really care because they know fellow Dems and the compliant MSM will go along with anything they say.

I wonder what the Taliban would give us in exchange for B. Hussein if we convicted him of treason (or of being an enemy combatant, whichever applies) and held him thus as a prisoner and offered to make them a deal? Maybe they’d give us back those MANPADs from Benghazi!
Maybe Hagel the RINO and Obama can sink together. (I can dream)
Hey, that looks like Baghdad Bob Berdahl holding the boom mike behind Preston!! WOW...that guys sure gets around....”unfettered access” for SURE!! lol
Ruh-rho. Don’t take any picnics in Ft. Marcy Park, Chuckie.
I thought I saw Obama spiking footballs and dancing in the end zone in front of White House with Bergdahls parents.

I believe you did. See my tagline.
It looks like Hagel isn’t going down without a fight.
Oh, he even gives Clinton the old Mussolini look. I thought that was reserved for us peasants.
I was going to post the same sentiment. That’s why these hearing are so useless. The Republicans bend over backwards to be fair and conciliatory. A bunch of spineless wimps and McKeown was just awful.
that is what i find so funny! he was lying thinking he was helping the WH, but they turned on him... hahahaha! it's hysterical...
“Tagline”?
Yes, the tagline following my screen name....
“In his opening statement this morning at a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee, Hagel made a point of saying it was President Obama who made the final decision to swap Bergdahl for five top Taliban leaders, with the full support of his national security team.”
Good for Hagel. He finally did something right.
No one in Obama’s administration fears a guy who can’t even do Zoomba fitness exercises. And everyone knows he doesn’t have it in him to fire anyone.
