Not settled in the legal sense.
Kline trying to find out who selected the Taliban Five. Not getting an answer.
Confusion = lying
“Lot of confusion. We didn’t know from day to day what we had and what we didn’t have.”
“We did get him back.”
DRINK!!
THAT!
Hank Johnson: It’s clear we did not negotiate with terrorists.
Thanks for clearing the up. :o/
Johnson up. Run, Guam is going to tip over!
Wow the head of the Defense Dept and General Counsel DO NOT KNOW the relationship between the Haqqani Network and the Taliban??
Look on Wikipedia, Dudes.
Hagel indicated Bergdahl’s fellow soldiers don’t know what happened. Someone should ask:
“Mr. Secretary, who knew more about what was going on in your unit in Viet Nam in 1968? You? Or some Washington politician?”
Then point out that the Mi Lai massacre, in 1968, was successfully prosecuted with the testimony of soldiers on the ground.
Hank Johnson?
The one and only.
I wish someone would ask if he would feel any direct responsibility if anyone is killed by one of the five he just released.

Isn’t somebody going to ask him flat out if Bergdahl voluntarily walked away from his post? Or if he left a note, and if so, what it said?
Jackie Speier dragging out the tiny violins for BB. “How would you feel if he was YOUR son?”

Democratic congresswoman Jackie Speier made an odd statement on MSNBC today, saying that its not necessarily fair to refer to the Taliban as terrorists, when in fact, theyre more like part of the fabric of Afghanistan. As she talked about the deal to swap Bowe Bergdahl for five Gitmo detainees, Speier felt it was important to underscore the term terrorists.
She explained, The Taliban is part of the fabric of Afghanistan. They were part of the leadership of that country before we engaged there. Speier said the U.S. is trying to get the Taliban to talk with the Afghan government because there has to be some level of coordination between the two if that country is going to survive and move forward.
She concluded, So to say that they are terrorists, at this point, is not necessarily accurate.
She wants to know if The Five were waterboarded!
