A St. Louis couple is likely thankful to have guns in their home after they were forced to use them to defend their daughter against two men Monday night.
The men, one of whom had an extensive rap sheet, confronted the couples’ 17 year-old daughter after she stepped outside of the house to go to her car, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Cortez McClinton, 33, and Terrell Johnson, 31, held a gun to the girl’s head and used her as a shield as they entered the family home, where a five-year old child was also present.
The girl’s father and mother witnessed the abduction, and both retrieved their guns. When McClinton and Johnson entered, the father fired several shots, hitting both men. The girl’s mother fired one shot but missed.
Johnson died at the scene. McClinton was wounded but was able to scramble off. He had his brother take him to the hospital.
In 2010, McClinton was charged with shooting another man. Charges were eventually dropped due to lack of witness participation. He also had drug possession and distribution charges against him.
McClinton is charged with second-degree murder, kidnapping, burglary, and criminal armed action and is being held on $1 million bond.

The perp was 31. The dad who shot the perp has a 17 year old daughter. We don’t know the age of the dad.

Section 6. The Militia and the standing army of 1,000. The standing army of 1,000 shall be drawn from the Militia by the commander of the Militia and is under the command of the commander of the Militia who is appointed by and reports directly to the President.
Section 7. All human life is precious and a gift from God. Age is counted from the moment life begins, which is at the moment of conception and as such, all human life is protected from conception to death and has the full rights of this Constitution from conception. Any citizen of the Republic of Maine may use what ever force he or she deems necessary to protect human life. All abortions are considered first degree premeditated murder, children are entrusted, by God the Creator to that child's parents and as such are the responsibility of the parents, not the state, no level of Government whether local, county or Republic is to, in any way, over rule a parent in the rearing, educating, and/or influencing that child in any way.

I suspect, that it is possible, that the father was a black man. It seems to me if he were a white guy, the headlines would have been something like "racist white supremacist, who hates blacks, kills a misunderstood aspiring rapper, who was turning his life around, and loved his dog and loved his mother. All he wanted, was to borrow some money from the previously mentioned black hating, creepy ass cracker, white racist, to buy some skittles." Did I leave anything out?

But, but, but, I heard just this week that good guys NEVER stop bad guys using guns.
Now, what the media does not tell about the actors, tells the readers more about the story than who wrote the story does.
The muggings, knockout game, mob attacks, murders, beatings.. look at the wicked hatred coming out of the White House, the Congress, the MSM, academia against those "who have too much" and how things should be more fair. How "they" stole "the people's" property.
Everyday the pro-government extremists are incited to violence out of being a "victim."
The employees of the MSM like MSNBC don't have to tell the pro-government extremists to inflict pain and suffering on the "haves" and take back the "stolen" goods. The pro-government extremists cheered on by the White House, the Congress, the MSM, academia to get even gladly do the bidding of the Obama government, the MSM, academia . . . .
I don’t know the details, geometry, etc so I’m reluctant to judge. But shooting two lowlifes holding your daughter as a shield then forcing their way into your home where your wife and a child are and not taking action would surely result in a far worse outcome than doing nothing.
