I’m a resident of the 7th District, and after the 2012 election I called it quits and did not vote in 2013, but I despise Cantor so much that I joined Mrs. OP today and went to polls and voted for Brat. And I’m damned glad I did.
I agree. Every time Cameron opens his mouth, I know which way the wind will blow..he is NOT a Conservative.

Not sure I know what Rand’s objectivism entails. What I took from Rand’s writing was the dangers of collectivism .....she promoted individual rights. That is not anti-religion, even though she was.

Well, I was dead wrong about this not being competitive, decisive 11 point win for Brat. Looks like Cantor’s negative ads backfired (and it was wrong to paint Brat’s non-partisan service on the “Joint Advisory Board of Economists” as being a part of the Kaine Administration)
As you say, hope he’s not a Paulbot. Not to be paranoid, but unfortunately you always have to worry about that when someone sounds a libertarian note.
Safe seat, the general election is irrelevant, no matter how much the WA Post hopes their boy can win (Cantor’s body is still warm and already they are profiling the rat). That freakish moonbat, Mike Dickerson, is not on the ballot. The rat state committee selected their own college professor, Jack Trammell.
