Fox News reporter James Rosen claimed intelligence sources have told him not only that Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl willingly collaborated with the Taliban, but that his involvement with the terrorist group may be as serious as you can imagine.
Rosen spoke with Bill OReilly Wednesday night about his ongoing conversations with intelligence and Pentagon officials regarding both old and new investigations into Bergdahls likely desertion and possibly treasonous activities.
My reporting has shown that the intelligence community also undertook a separate [from the Army] investigation of Sgt. Bergdahl, Rosen explained, both his final period of active duty that culminated in that mysterious evening, and also his conduct over the past five years, which is said to have been a period of captivity.
Alright, now why would you say the intelligence, I assume thats defense intelligence, the CIA, all those people why would they bother investigating a sergeant who was taken captive? OReilly asked. I mean, why would they spend those resources?
Well, with greatest proximity, because they were tasked with doing so, Rosen responded cagily. But my reporting on this is that there are many inside the intelligence community who harbor outstanding concerns not just that Sgt. Bergdahl may have been a deserter, but that he became an active collaborator with the enemy.
The reporter reiterated information regarding Bergdahls emails, the packing up of his personal effects, his failure to take certain equipment with him before he left his post and anecdotal evidence from Taliban commanders including how Bergdahl taught Islamist fighters how to reprogram a mobile phone into an IED.
The last thing I will tell you is Im still working on this story, Im talking to a broad range of sources in and out of the government, in and out of the military, Rosen explained. And all I will say is, there are many forms that active collaboration can take. Im investigating claims that it could go as serious as you could imagine.
Maybe because he found out the Taliban were not the innocent good guys he thought they were and they did not treat him with open arms as he thought they would.
Yup - Bowe probably didn’t even want to leave his jihadist buddies. They were likely done with him, and got the pleasure of turning on him and sending him back to the America he hates, and getting back their 5 big guns. Helluva deal is right - this has to be more than the usual Obama stupidity.
bttt
Can you imagine another president doing something like this?
Obama was determined to release these dangerous enemies of the USA. He would do so at all costs. Forget Bergdahl, he was just the excuse, and a very poor one.
This is simply treason at the highest level.
The fact that the American president is a moslem and virtually an agent for America's enemies is too much for most people to accept. They will not believe it.
You have to go back in time where the father's goal was to get all the prisoners at gitmo released. I'll have to find the item because it confuses things. There's a missing piece here....Code Pink?
Obama went to Afghanistan, ‘accidentally’ outed our highest CIA chief (and thereby anyone who worked for him) and then announces this ‘deal’ for the 5 worst of the worst Taliban leaders, and the hosts a press conference where the father recites a Muslim prayer after announcing he son cannot speak English, then reverts back to English for the rest of his speech.
Why is our Military not arresting him? (oh, that’s right- he’s been purging the top Generals)
The Taliban guy PATTING Bowe on the arm, like a friend or father would, and Bowe CRYING like he doesn’t want to leave!!!
“My question is why would he come back?”
It probably wasn’t his choice. The enemy wanted their 5 guys more than they wanted him.
My guess is that he’s going to off himself... That’s the cowards way out.
Bowe’s father said his son didn;’t remember how to SPEAK English?? HOW DID HE KNOW THAT???
...but that his involvement with the terrorist group may be as serious as you can imagine.
The most serious thing would be to take up arms against his fellow US soldiers. My question is why would he come back?
He didn’t have any choice in coming back- the Taliban wanted their five leaders back and sending him home was part of the deal.
He also looked none too happy about going home- in the video he was crying
A firing squad on the eve of elections? Obama wanted to move his poll numbers...
thats why he was crying in the pick up,”Please don’t make me go” and his buddy taped him on the shoulder saying, ‘You’ll be fine,go”
maybe he should be on suicide watch
Why
I thought the Taliban already knew how to do that.

“Bergdahls father was in contact with Bergdahl the entire time he working with the Taliban. “
Unless “dead drops” were used to transmit info between the parties, there should be an electronic trail.
Where’s the NSA when you need’em?
yes. And why did Obama go to so much trouble to get him back and then try to sell him to this country as a honorable man?
Was Bergdahl supposed to pull some kind of stunt here in the near future? Play a role of some kind?
Why not......who said he can’t?
I wonder if we’re going to see more You Tube videos from the Taliban showing Bergdahl training them to make better IEDs.
