These TRAITORS armed al Qaeda.

There was no ACCOUNTABILITY because of the
absent, abdicating, whoring, EXEMPT Congress.

So, OF COURSE they regard a deserter as an American “hero”.

As Commander in Chief, Obama has the authority to thwart any charges to be brought against Bergdahl. Anyone here think he would allow them?

Lastly, some members of Congress believe the White House should've never championed Bergdahl as a hero given the unknown circumstances of his abduction.

Unknown? B.S. ...they knew from day 1 he walked off base.

Just like they knew from day 1 Benghazi was a terrorist attack.

Using Obama’s take on this, if we had Rommel, Tojo, Yamamoto, and a couple of other Axis Generals in Custody during WWII, it wouldn’t have been a problem for FDR to trade them all for one American POW Deserter.

Hero or traitor — it doesn’t matter.

Trading five top terrorists for him is insanity.

Susan Rice just misspoke. She meant to say that Bergdahl served the Taliban with honor and distinction after he defected.

How does this impact the legal gov and anyone who supported us in Afghanistan? I’d think they’ll now be red meat for the Taliban. What about our European allies who fought alongside the US in Afghanistan? They can’t be thrilled with the precedent.

the release of five Taliban operatives

Operatives? These five are essentially the War Council or Board of Directors of the Taliban. To call them "operatives" is the understatement of the year.

“Honor” and “distinction” obviously mean something vastly different to the Current Regime, than was ever recorded in any dictionary anywhere.

Honor (n.) 1. Good name or public esteem, reputation, recognition; 2. Privilege; 3. Person of superior standing; 4. Exalted title or rank; 5. Chastity; 6. Integrity - well, you get the idea.

Distinction (n.) The quality or state of being distinguished, recognition, worthiness

Almost none of the above applies to Bowe Bergdahl.
