State Department deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf engaged in a heated exchange Tuesday with a reporter over the circumstances surrounding Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahls capture five years ago, saying she does not think his squad mates have the best idea of what happened when he disappeared.
When Fox News reporter Lucas Tomlinson asked, Does the State Department consider Sergeant Bergdahl to be a deserter? Harf replied, The State Department no, Lucas. Look, what weve said is we are going to learn the facts about what happened here.
Hes been in captivity, Lucas. I think hes probably the person who knows best what happened on that night, Harf said.
Tomlinson shot back, Well, I think his squad mates have the best indication what happened that night.
I dont think that thats the case, Harf responded.
Harf directed Tomlinson to Google it on the web, and youll find a ton of conflicting reportsdismissing the multiple accounts of Bergdahls desertion that have emerged over the past several days.

Where did they dig up this airhead?
Why do libs always find the very worst person to represent their identity politics? Susan Rice, Al Sharpton, etc.
The state department will know the circumstances once they read about it in the newspapers and of course, the military reports are sealed.
I thought Jen Psaki was as bad as it could get. Then I saw Marie Harf.
Where do they get these people? You could pick a random person off the New York Subway and he would be a better spokesperson.
Bet that CIA dude that was outed knows the story and HAD the evidence. IMHO, The guys gonna take a walk in Marcy Park and poof...
What an incredibly poor spokesperson (regardless of the ridiculousness of the circumstances).
Well, we do know Obama loves “Homeland”
Obama Invokes Homeland Terror Narrative with Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl Just Prior to Wave of Domestic Terror Attacks
This whole thing makes me more upset every minute.
CiC places absolutely no value in the military.
“You could pick a random person off the New York Subway and he would be a better spokesperson.”
Probably not. A person picked at random would probably tell the truth.
All of her railing and caterwauling is just her increadibly maladroit way of saying "This matter is under investigation, we cannot comment at this time".
He sent his parents some boxes. He said "and use them". Them what??
The dude who did the Bergdahl's bio for Rolling Stone crashed and died at age 33.. IIRC, it was right after the article.
Why did we release FIVE radical terrorist murders for ONE supposed captive?
The BS never ends from these people...
Here’s the entire press briefing in case anyone missed it (I posted it earlier in another thread). All the Bergdahl questioning stuff starts around 36:00 minutes or so:

Marie Harf looks like she’s going to barf once it gets going. You can see the sweat beading up on her brow and upper lip. She knows she’s lying.
I wonder if Bowe was a captive or a guest.
Let him tell his story then. I’m sure his CIC is anxious to find out as well by watching on TeeVee.
Where does the government get these people? This young State Department employee has clearly used the bottle of peroxide too often and it has not only colored her hair blonde, it has also burnt right through the scalp and fried her brain. She’s a moron.
I think they already did, with the ‘dude’ guy.
He wasn’t as bad as this.
