(STMW) – Two people are dead and seven others are wounded after shootings across the city’s West and South sides Thursday.
The most recent fatal shooting occurred Tuesday evening on the South Side.
About 5:25 p.m., three people were shot in the 700 block of East 79th Street, police said. A 58-year-old woman was shot in the head and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she later died, police said.
A 58-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were also shot and treated on the scene, police said. The man suffered a graze wound to his stomach, and the woman sustained a graze wound to her hand.

Funny. Not much shootin’ goin’ on all winter when there was 100’s of inches of snow and sub-zero temps for weeks on end.
And so begins another lovely, ‘Summer of Recovery’ in all of our Democrat-destroyed major metro areas.
The thugs will be making up for lost time this winter!
You know what they should do in Chicago? They should videotape every gun purchase in a gun store. That would stop the killing. Oh, wait, Mayor Rahm has already come up with that idea. Oh well.

Funny how we did not hear about this in the media yet they had non-stop coverage of what happened in Santa Barbara..kept on calling it a “massacre” the only difference here is 2 people dead compared to 3(Since the other three were from a knife, something the media refuses to talk about) but hey, its far more intriguing to talk about the elitist 22 year old who couldn’t get laid than talk about gang bangers shooting people, after all, no one is going to demand the gang banger give up his gun
Exactly. How come Feinstein has never talked about banning “assault” weapons during the hey-days of the Bloods and Crips?
Ever since Bush has been out of office, we no longer get body counts from Iraq, Afghanistan and Chicago.
That’s because the left don’t have anything politically to gain over their deaths..when Bush was President, every single day all we heard about is how many soldiers died on that day, now we don’t hear a peep about it anymore because with Obama in office, they don’t want to connect him to the deaths
This is how the media works, for example, a mentally disturbed young woman here in Los Angeles stabbed to death her three beautiful daughters, ages 3, 2, and 5 months..all you heard in the local media is how we need to address mental health and post pardom depression(Which is an important issue), I havent heard anything about banning knives..yet when a whack job goes on a shooting spree(And a stabbing spree) the first thing you hear is how we need to ban guns..someone uses a knife, they are mentally ill, someone uses a gun, have to ban guns..weird how that works isn’t it
It seems to me that since ChiTown has some of the most restrictive gun control laws in the country, maybe it's not the guns that are the problem... If there are lots of drive by shootings, and banning guns hasn't helped, I think Rahmbo should propose banning cars. If there are no cars in ChiTown, the gangs won't be able to do the drive byes.

Far more likely is that the ministry of propaganda is actually shielding Barky and his regime. I recently read that in just the last 4 years, the number of American dead and wounded in Iraq & Afghanistan has sky rocketed, and I seem to recall the number being in just 6 years is nearly triple the number of dead and wounded when Bush was in office.
