Illogical as always! You miss my point again!

Your original post entrophy12:

That includes Ted Cruz and Rand Paul. Because they are skilled politicians. Many really good conservative candidates have lost because they are not skilled politicians.

Ansel's response to you was completely correct.

Rand Paul with his support for GOP-E Leader McConnell over Tea-Party Bevin, His Amnesty Plan, his desire to de-emphasize the social issues, etc. means he is no longer a Tea-Party conservative, but has now joined the GOP-E.

As Ansel stated, Rand Paul doesn't belong in the same category as Ted Cruz. Rand Paul has compromised himself.

That was not the point I was making.

Read my post again please.

To reiterate my point, good candidates can win in spite of GOPe support. Cruz and Paul both fit in that category. Both were opposed by GOPe.

My post had nothing to do with either support or rejection of Rand Paul. Get it? It is all about good candidates versus poor candidates.

We are seeing how the Paul gang are going to operate.

Avoid discussing Paul, and go after his critics.

Patrick..... stop the relentless march of property tax increases.
**************************
Property taxes are levied by and paid to the Counties and school districts, not the State of Texas.

The Texas Lt. Gov. has nothing to do with the property taxes.

“Now, Patrick..... stop the relentless march of property tax increases.”

Keep in mind that with Patrick you will GET A VOTE on these. It is up to the Republicans in the State Senate to actually vote for them.

Texas is going to have to do something if it wants to survive the Illegal Invasion.

America's going to have to do something if it wants to survive the illegal invasion.

But Texas is the Front Lines and Ground Zero.

So having someone who fights against it is a major plus.

True, true. That dirtbag Dewhurst and his butt buddy Joe Straus have blocked every bill that would have put some real teeth into Texas' anti-illegal immigration efforts.

I hope like heck that Dan Patrick doesn't let us down in this area. Texas is far behind several of the other southern tier states when it comes to pushing back against the illegal horde.
