The comments in this thread, coupled with the abuses by liberals, illustrates rather vividly that the republic truly is dead.
A free nation cannot function when the a majority of the electorate subscribes to the ideals professed by either liberals or most of the respondents to this thread.
If you are complaining about someone restoring an essential check and balance to our gutted system then you are just as responsible for the death of this country as any rampaging progressive lib.

Dumb twits! But then again probably a third of them repubs are really democrats including McConnell their fearless leader, so it is not surprising that they would revert back once they lose power. Hairy Reed knew this that is why he installed new rules while they are in the majority, otherwise he would never have done it.
