A few years ago there was a story somewhere (very possibly here) that told of a moslem doctor at the Mayo Clinic...just about the finest hospital on earth...who openly supported this.Having worked at a large,well known,hospital I had career knowledge in the vetting process a physician undergoes before being hired at a top drawer hospital.As a result I knew exactly who to talk to and what to say to the office responsible.I called Mayo Clinic and spoke at length about the situation and,not long after my call,it was reported that he had been fired.

Although I'd like to think that I played a major role in his firing I understand,realistically,that it's highly unlikely that I did.

This could be limited (probably not stopped altogether) by laws that allocate responsibility to the parents/guardians for an underage child and include a ‘failure to report’ clause. A deportation to country of origin (or heritage for those born here) would be icing on the cake. At the moment IMHO, nothing is done at all.
