The Most Dishonest Amnesty Poll Yet

Michael Bloomberg and Rupert Murdoch’s Partnership for a New American Economy (a.k.a. Billionaires for Open Borders) has released what may be the most ridiculously skewed pro-amnesty poll I’ve seen. The poll, conducted by McLlaughlin & Associates, is timed to coincide with Tea Party Express executive Sal Russo’s teaming up with Grover Norquist to push amnesty (they both co-sponsored the poll as well); it purports to show that even tea-party people support Chuck Schumer’s amnesty bill, so get on with it already, Boehner!

The mendacity of the whole exercise becomes apparent when you read the actual questions. After a few setup questions you get to this (all the emphases are mine):

7. SOME MEMBERS OF CONGRESS HAVE PROPOSED A PLAN FOR IMMIGRATION REFORM THAT WOULD INCLUDE BOTH IMPROVED BORDER SECURITY AND ENFORCEMENT, AS WELL AS A WAY FOR UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS WHO ARE ALREADY IN THIS COUNTRY TO STAY IN THIS COUNTRY, IF THEY PAY PENALTIES, PAY BACK TAXES, PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND LEARN ENGLISH AND AMERICAN CIVICS.WOULD YOU SUPPORT OR OPPOSE THIS PLAN?

Pretty standard so far — using the left’s “undocumented” label and repeating the “back taxes” and “learn English” lies — there, is in fact no such proposal.

The next question might be the most dishonest:

8. WOULD YOU SUPPORT OR OPPOSE IMMIGRATION REFORM THAT WOULD REQUIRE WE REDUCE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION BY AT LEAST 90% BEFORE GRANTING LEGAL STATUS TO ANY UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANT WHO IS ALREADY IN THE UNITED STATES, IMPLEMENTS THE E-VERIFY SYSTEM THAT REQUIRES ALL EMPLOYERS TO INSTANTLY CHECK IF SOMEONE IS HERE LEGALLY AND ELIGIBLE TO WORK BEFORE THEY’RE HIRED, AND PROHIBITS ANY IMMIGRANT FROM BEING ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ANY TAXPAYER FUNDED BENEFIT LIKE WELFARE, FOOD STAMPS OR MEDICAID UNTIL THEY HAVE BECOME A CITIZEN?

The Senate amnesty bill is dangerously flawed, and its glaring omissions WRT protecting US ntl security, cannot ever serve as the basis for useful legislation.

By legalizing illegal aliens w/out shoring up law enforcement, we hand an engraved invitation to global Third Worlders----all of 'em salivating to ride the US gravy train.....each seperatist group conniving to achieve its hidden agenda.

Amnesty recklessly opens the door wide for illiterate, low-skilled aliens, born and bred in savage cultures, here to suck up US benefits and take jobs away from Americans.

Third Worlders may, in fact, contribute their labor to the US, but their loyalties are elsewhere----they have no intention of becoming Americanized....of participating as equals in American culture, revering our vast history, or preserving American values.

The Senate amnesty bill is a blueprint----it amply demonstrates that illegal separatist populations intend to usurp the US political system to advance their own hidden agenda.

Immigration “reform” includes two “slush funds” amounting to $150,000,000 that may be supplemented with additional taxpayer dollars for years to come, earmarked for non-profit organizations such as the blood-thirsty La Raza.

SCHOOL BOARD NUT CASES Adelita Grijalva is the woman on the Arizona school board pimping La Raza indoctrination programs in Tuscon schools. Adelita is all up in arms about Raza Studies getting tossed via the AZ state legislature's action...she is the daughter of Raul Grijalva (D-AZ-7).

Cong Raul Grijalva is one of Mexico’s most productive and loyal Fifth Column in the US Congress....aiding and abetting the latino criminal underworld, colluding to take back the SW, and loot and pillage the US treasury.

Republican Sen Charles Grassley tried to protect Americans w/ this amendment to the amnesty bill: "Congress should not thumb its nose at the millions of Americans who are victims of identity theft, often perpetrated by an undocumented person who steals Social Security numbers to get jobs, govt benefits, driver's licenses and more. This amendment will simply require the person applying for RPI status to disclose any previously used Social Security numbers," said Grassley. "It's the first step to helping clean up the mess that's been created for the victim of identity theft. The amendment also authorizes certain federal agencies, upon receipt of this information, to notify individuals who were the victims."

SEN SCHUMER WENT PROSTRATE, GOT OUT THE LIP BALM, AND PUCKERED UP: Dismissing Sen Grassley's proposal, Sen Schumer (Dimwit-NY) said: "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers. How are they going to remember all that? (The) purpose of this bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.

A WTHR-TV Indianapolis investigative report exposes a fraudulent scheme wherein the IRS is sending $4.2 billion per year to illegal immigrants as an "additional child tax credit" for children who don't even live in the U.S. Further, the IRS and Congress have been ignoring the scheme for years. The Inspector General's office has repeatedly identified the problem in audit after audit. The IG, Russell George says, "The magnitude of the problem has grown exponentially," but the IRS is doing nothing to stop it. "It's so easy it's ridiculous," the tax preparer whistleblower who exposed the fraud admits.

US Rep. Sam Johnson, R-Texas, wants to end the practice of giving illegal immigrants tax credits for kids, but U.S. Sen.

Harry Reid, D-Nev., won’t let the House-approved measure H.R. 556 through the Senate. "The System is Working Fine" says Senator Harry Reid, even though the Joint Committee on Taxation calculates that enactment of H.R. 556 would save taxpayers $24.4 billion over the next decade.

The House of Representatives repeatedly has passed an IRS bill that could save U.S. taxpayers up to $24.4 billion over the next 10 years — but Harry Reid’s Democratic Senate will not hear it.

The Refundable Child Tax Credit Eligibility Verification Reform Act, or H.R. 556, would require tax filers to provide Social Security numbers to claim child tax credits.

Currently, the IRS allows undocumented residents to collect the $1,000 credits for dependents not even living in the country.

Watchdog reported that illegal immigrants received $4.2 billion from the tax agency in just one year. “My bill (targets) billions of dollars in waste, fraud and abuse. Instead of hitting up taxpayers for even more taxes, Washington needs to go after these billions of dollars,” said Rep. Johnson, R-Texas.

Though the GOP-controlled House has passed Johnson’s measure three times, Senate Majority Leader Reid, D-Nev., refuses to allow the bill to come up for a vote in his chamber. “The IRS has been doling out the credit to tax filers claiming children who do not even live in the country,” Johnson charged.

I recall that Federal law enforcement is up to the sole discretion of the AG and his boss Obama.

The GOP house cant pass anything that enforces anything, not even the silly ‘enforce the laws’ bill they passed.

If the house could pass a bill that really enforces laws Holder would be in jail now, and a bunch more with him.
